"We have used these gloves archery hunting for two full seasons. They are the best on the market for early season hunting down to temps. of 30 deg. F . The scent-lok works perfectly as we get game almost stepping on us every year. This season I had a cow elk at a distance of 3 ft. "what a rush"....The only reason she didn't step on me was because of downed timber between us. That's what you can experience if you properly prep and maintain all the various Cabela's scent-lok gear and you maintain your stealth. We backpack deep into wilderness areas and take three pairs of these gloves each. We use the gloves four days then rotate them out.
Everything past reviewers indicated as to "high quality" is right on target. Nothing else we could say that hasn't already been said about these gloves."

"As a bowhunter, hunting in south central Mississippi you can only imagine the thing I have to deal with, 90 degree temperatures , bugs some of which are so big they show up on radar and odor from sweat. The Cabela's Scent-Lok ClimaFlex Ultralight Savanna™ EXT Shooter's Gloves is perfect for these conditions, first and foremost they lock in the odor generated by sweaty palms, yet so light weight the temperature doesn’t come into play at all. This glove is also great as a “bug barrier” I have been using these gloves for 2 seasons now and have yet to be bit on the hand or lower wrist. The glove palm is also equipped with a grip texture which really holds when you want it. I highly recommend this product and encourage other hunter’s to use it. Billy M."

Good Glove,

"I've used these gloves multiple times in the early season in Maryland this year and they've performed well. Good fit and light weight. No sweating in warmer temps. Good grip for bow hand and release hand. I try not to use them when climbing in and out of my trees as I've read they don't hold up but I forget to change gloves sometimes and these seem to be holding up just fine."

"These gloves are excellent for early season bow hunts. They fit very well, don't hinder your release, and you lose no dexterity at all. Don't overlook the Scent-Lok protection for your hands. These gloves cover everything a bowhunter wants in a lightweight glove. I wish they could make a cold weather version as good as these!!!!!"

"I like these gloves. they fit tight. so if you are looking for a glove that doesn't fit tight dont buy this one unless you order a size bigger than what you usually wear. they work well with my release, no bunching up when i put on my release. the only thing is looks like the palm maybe coming unstitched alittle bit already and i have only wore than a handful of times. just remember these arent working gloves, don't go hanging your deer stand with these. just hunt in them and they will make you good set of gloves."

"I just got these gloves for Christmas, after having an older pair wear out after a few years of use. The old ones were made out of cotton which was good, however the new pair is made out of polyester. This makes it seem like you have oil on your hands and makes everything slippery. Even with the small piece of leather on the palm. They did away with the velcro wrist stap which is great because now my realease does not get caught on it. All in all not as good as my older pair, too slippery.

"I used these gloves all through bow season and even into regular hunting season. They are too thin to use on cold days. Other that that, they allow you to maintain the dexterity in your hands, which is always a plus while hunting."

"These gloves fit great, do not limit dexterity, and are nice and cool for warm weather hunting. My one complaint is that they are pretty slippery. The patch on the palm limits slippage, but the fingers are slick. Adding the patch to the finger tips would definitely make these gloves five star."
