Image of Porcupine Fish Attractors

  • Attract fish in large or small lakes
  • Improves spawning habitat and survival rates
  • Constructed of non-corrosive materials
  • Place under piers, boathouses or docks
  • Designed to prevent lost lures
  • Detectable on fish finders and sonars
  • Bill Dance's Porcupine Fish Attractor is the product of one man's ingenuity and his passion to bring fish a little closer to anglers. Designed for large or small lakes, the Porcupine Fish Attractor not only draws fish in but also improves spawning habitat. It takes the hassle out of designing and building your own submersible fish structure for your pond or a large reservoir, and it's easy to assemble and very affordable. Basically, it is constructed of a series of PCV pipes that attach to a noncorrosive, ball-like sphere at the center. These structures are perfect to place under piers, boathouses, docks or by themselves in a line out from the shore. After a few weeks of adjusting to these new structures, the fish will gravitate to them and swim along and through them. Eventually, algae and plankton will grow on these structures and attract even more fish. They provide shade and refuge to smaller fish to help increase survival rates. They are even designed to catch fish without losing lures or getting tangled up, because as the fish swims into it for protection; you are reeling in and pulling the fish toward you, and eventually the line will slide right off the attractor's extension. These structures even show up on fish finders and sonar units. Mark your Porcupine Fish Attractor locations with GPS or landmarks for both night and ice-fishing trips. Everyone from anglers to biologists, professional lake management companies to tournament anglers are using the Porcupine Fish Attractor to attract fish to specific locations. Per each.

They work, plain and simple, August 13, 2009
    By LakeoftheOzarks from Shawnee, KS

"I have been placing structure for awhile now. These procupine structures flat out produce.

The key, is strategic placement. You cant just place the porcupine attractor anywhere and expect it to produce.

They have to be put in spots that, the fish you are specifically targeting, migrate through, spawn, or feed. Generally speaking these three spots are relatively in the same spot!

The other nice thing is they last forever, you dont snag, and with a grapple hook and some rope you can retrieve them and move them.

Artificial Fish structure, April 20, 2009
By JasB from Avid Tn. angler wanting better fishing

"Easy to assemble and deploy, but the "jury's still out" at my 15 acre lake. Theoretically, these should be effective and are much neater to work with than natural shrubs or trees used for fish attraction. My rating is for now neutral to date but could change in either direction (+or-) pending fishing success."
