Goose flag poor sticks, February 9, 2009
By GaryinDE

"The fiberglass rods broke even before use. The ends split while trying to insert intothe hole. I could not use the flag.

Maybe you could send new fiberglass sticks for the wings or refer me to where I could get them.

Unhappy.

Excellent Flag, February 3, 2009
By Jhohnstein from Milwaukie Oregon

"I bought this flag as a surprise gift for my picky husband. He rarely likes gifts, unless he has told me where to get them and exactly what to get. So it has been difficult even trying to buy him gifts over the years. I was thrilled when he opened it and saw what it was. He told me all about the 'dead bird' look that the camo side of the flag took care of. He said other people's flags would be a hassle and that they would have to pull them into the blinds really quick to avoid the 'dead bird' look. With this flag I purchased from Cabela's, he wouldnt have that problem. He had never seen a camo on one side flag, but he couldnt be more happy. We used the flag the last two weekends of hunting season. He was very excited when it turned the geese our way. He is a project engineer and always looks at the 'quality' of anything he buys. When he is happy, I am happy. Cabela's never disappoints us in regards to quality. Thank you Cabela's!"

Final Approach, September 23, 2008
By DanZ from Bufflao, NY

"This product is a must have for goose hunters. I couldn't count the number of geese that had no particular interest in our spread but committed once I started flagging. Awesome product.
Only thing that caused an issue was the plastic arms at the top of the flag. I had one break but i just pulled it out and flipped it around. I'm going to try to write the company to see if i could get a couple extras since i did just buy it.

Not a great flag., February 21, 2008
By quakhead55 from Virginia

"Flag looks great and realistic but its not durable. The elastic holding the tail of the flag to the handle ripped the first day in the field so I have to tie it in a knot which constanlty comes undone because the material doesnt grip itself. Also, flag is pain to put togethor. Feels like you are going to break the rods for the wings when you put it togethor because it is so tight."

Too hard to assemble, February 20, 2008
By BobSn from PA

"While the flag looks good & the carry bag is a nice addition, it is too hard to assemble & disassemble the wing rods under field conditions. I had to cut down the small rods that support the wing material just to be able to assemble for the first time. I expect over longer use the wing rods will either break or the excessive force needed to get them in & out of the plastic head will tear the wing material."

I only gave it 1 star because 0 is not an option, December 10, 2007
By CRJ912 from North East, Illinois

"These things are junk. The rods of the "T" part are always poking through the material and then the flag is useless. I have tried a few times to repair this but I am through wasting my time. Don't waste your money on these flags, because if you do you will be disapointed."

Attention Geese, September 24, 2007
By smitty2640 from Burlington County, New Jersey

"Excellent Flag. Comfortable, easy to set up. Black only on one side which is crucial in when setting it down, which does not give the dead goose effect. Had several flags in the past and this is the one I prefer. Everyone I hunt with wants to buy this flag also."

GOOSE HUNTING, December 26, 2006
By LURCH13 from ZILLAH, WA

"THIS IS A GREAT PRODUCT FOR THE DOUBLE SIDED PRINTING. WE DON'T HAVE TO HIDE THE FLAG IN OUR BLIND. ONE PROBLEM IS THE SHORT HANDLE. BECAUSE OF THE LENGTH IT IS HARD TO HOLD IN THE STRONG WINDS, IT BECOMES A HAND HELD KITE. IT REALLY WORKS THE FOREARMS. AN ADDITIONAL/ OPTIONAL LONGER POLE, 12" PLUS, WOULD WORK BETTER THAT WAY IT CAN BE WIPPED WHILE WORKING THE LANDING."

Lasted two trips, November 21, 2006
By Gibbs from Sacramento, CA

"Recently received this product in the mail. Found that the lower strap broke the first time I used it. I tied it in a knot and didn't think much about it. The second trip to the field the little composite 1/8 inch diameter support tubes that slide into place during assembly started fraying at the end and they wouldn't insert into the holes. End result was the composite support tubes split and product couldn't be assembled for use. High price to pay for a product that didn't last. This product is currently on a truck being shipped back for a refund. I hope Cabelas gets reimbursed by the company who designed this product."
