Great for bad backs,

"As a fishing guide I spent many hours on the boat. Over the years I have gottin a bad back . Since I found crocs athens they are the only flip flops I ever wear and I have the tan line to prove it."

I had about given up on finding a pair to replace the well worn pair I have worn constantly for well over a year. They fit my wide foot perfectly and are the most comfortable and durable thong sandal I have ever owned."

"I wore off much of the tread on my first pair after two years of wearing them lots and was happy to find the same ones available at Cabela's. This time I bought 2 colors. They are light and open but have amazing support. I can wear them all day with great confort...a must have!"

Wonderful shock absorption,

"I've had horrible problems with plantar fasciitis and these Crocs flipflops, as well as a few of their other shoes (Maryjanes and other Crocs flats) have given me much comfort and relief. I depend on them for their excellent shock absorption and wear them constantly. Note: not ALL Crocs have such a superduper heel. Also, I wear a women's size 8-1/2 W, but the size Men-5 Women-7 Unisex has plenty of room."

"They will work well as a waterproof flip flop. They are convenient in that no matter what you get on them, you can wash it off. They are only average in terms of comfort though."

"These are the best flip flops I have ever owned. I bought them for cleaning the inside of the boat. They are a good non slip product, but very comfortable too. A bit pricey, but you get what you pay for.
My wife has a pair and loves hers too."

"The shoes are really comfy. The only thing negative I would say is that they are unisex shoes so there is a little extra space between the top of my foot and the straps of the flops. Either way, great shoes to do gardening in...."

"I like these but I reordered a size smaller because the first part was a little big. I normally wear a women's size 8 and ordered the men's size 6 which is wider a just a bit longer as well. The size men's 5 fit better and I gave the size 6 to a friend. The second pair purchased squeaked when I wore them the first couple of times but they seem to be okay now."

"These sandals are like walking in high heels.
No support for the middle sides of your feet. Also, middle of big toes gets jammed on the toe stops and hurts, since these sandals are at a steep angle.
Really poor design! I WILL NOT BUY ANY MORE OF THESE SANDALS."

"The thong run very large for me (women's) I had to reorder them two times. I normally wear a 7 women's and had to order a size 5 in order for them to fit. The arch still is not in the right place."

"i was very dissapointed not in the shoes per say but, the sizing. i ordered twice a kids size and ended up with adult sizes.
i actually kept the first pair and love them. just think they need to have better sizing for the children crocs.
the pricing was awesome that is why i was choosing cabelas to get them from.
i will still order from them because they do have good prices and good products."

"I wear a 8W and have two pairs of Crocs, Adara and Mammoth, that are a little big but comfortable. Unfortunately, the Athens were too big, even for me. The size 8 was both too long and too wide. I should have paid attention to the other reviewers who reported the same problem."
