Adjustable gusset with cam-lock cinches down the boot opening for a more secure fit and makes it easier to slip pant cuffs over the boot or hold them inside the boot, and also keep unwanted debris from entering the boot.

"I love these boots, light and very comfortable. After a year of use I noticed a very small separation on the right boot at the seam that mates the sole with the upper. It was not a big deal and I could of fixed it myself. But hunting season was out so called LaCrosse. They said send them in. I did and only asked to fix or assure they would hold together. They did more than that, I got a brand new set. LaCrosse has the best boots and now I know they have the best service and customer support."

"I tried on serveral styles and brands and this one by far fit me the best. It was snug but not constricting. I have big wide feet but I wanted something that I would be able to run in so they needed to fit well. They passed deer season with flying colors."

"Here in the south this is the perfect boot use them year around, feeding cattle and hunting. I like the extra height of these boots, and the weight of these boots make them very comfortable and easy to wear. Definately order a size up, and you won't regret it. I've had my boots at least 3 years and they have proved to be durable and the pair of boots I wear most."

"I wore these boots on a preserve pheasant hunt in PA this past weekend. It is mud season throughout the northeast, and we tromped through swamps almost all day. My feet were comfortable and dry during the entire hunt. I did as other reviewers suggested and bought the nest size up. The real test will come during archery season!"

"Purchased the boots for hunting in the warmer months. Ordered my normal size and should have went up a size, but the boot is not offered in that size. Soles are hard and stiff. Long hikes in these boots will cause sore feet and blisters."

"I wore these boots on a 8 day moose hunt in Northern BC. Very comfortable to walk in, no leaks even through the wettest marsh areas. We had to cross a swampy area to get to the nice bull I had shot, glad I had them on as the water was near knee deep."

"I wore these out of the box to feed animals and it proved excellent in the muck, more of a cold weather product though(my feet were a little warm with the warmer days, now the mornings are 20 and they are perfect). I also wore these in hunting camp, and one day I forgot to take them off and switch boots, they are that comfortable, and although a little warm for the weather, they were perfect climbing mountains and all the ground I covered, they never sored my feet once. I gave them 4 stars because I punctured a small hole through them while hunting, a stick must have stabbed them just right. I will just put duckt tape on them and i think they will be fine. Great boot, fits well, stays on and has good traction with the air bobs."

"I'm giving it a 5 rating without using them in the cold weather yet, but I have the lighter model and my feet stayed bone dry and only got a little cool sitting in a 2 man ladder stand for 2 days in a row for 10 hrs each day last season and 2 hrs on the 3rd day until I shot my buck. then walked in them for the next day and a half and never thought of putting my regilar hunting boots on. These boots are super comfortable you wont regret buying these boots."

"seems to be a quality product but have only worn them inside. i really don't know how there going to handle the abuse they will be getting as soon as deer season opens here in about three weeks. they do have a strong rubber smell but i hope it will go away once exposed to the outdoors. will air them out until the season begins.very comfortable boot."

"by far the best "rubber" boots i've owned! haven't had the chance (or necessity) to take them hunting yet, but plenty of mucking around in the mud feeding livestock. super comfortable, "shoe like" fit. not like other heavy, clumsy, "rub your ankles raw" cheapo boots. worth every penny, i hope they last forever!"
