"Purchased with Superwinch LT2000... it will work, and the holes DO line up (unlike some other reviews). BUT, the kit is obviously universal - the lower plate protrudes from the front bumper of my 2004 Sportsman... it actually carries the winch halfway out of the bumper pocket. If I were to run into anything, the first thing to make contact would be my winch... POOR POOR design."

"Instructions were very lacking in detail, had to trial fit most pieces to get in properly. Also, the mounting plate did not fit a Superwinch LT2000 that I also got at Cabelas, I had to modify the plate to get it to bolt up. Would not recommend to others in the future if you have other options for winch mount plates."

"I like the Superwinch and it has plenty of power for most things...mostly getting me unstuck from deep mud or snow, or dragging a log off a trail.
The installation instructions could be a little more clear, and it would have earned 5 stars except the wiring provided was not long enough to go from the solenoid, which is suggested to be mounted near the rear, to the winch on the front. I had to add more wire, and 8-gauge wire is hard to find. I expected the wire included with the winch to be the correct length, since it was supposed to be designed for my model ATV.
I was very happy with the finished product once the wiring problem was solved. And, the price was right."

"The mount looks nice and strong, but would not fit with my setup. After working for about an hour trying to make it work, I ended up drilling my own mounting holes. Other reviews say this mount will not work with the Superwinch LT2000 and I agree. Be prepared to modify mount for your ATV."

"This winch mount kit does not work at all with the warn 2500 , I tried & tried to make it work with this winch but the winch is to big for the spot that they want it to go in. So if you looking for a winch and mount kit for the 08 rancher 420 do not buy the 2500 winch and mount kit for the 4x4 rancher because it will not fit.........................and if you do , good luck with it."

"This mount works perfect on an 07 suzuki Eiger with a super winch LT2000 winch. Looked like a factory fit and has a place on the front to mount the fair lead. This mount had a place for the two hole center mount winch ,like I used, or a four hole mount winch like many of the other brands require."
