slightly disappointed,August 30, 2009
By jswiney912from virginia
"I put these sticks up today and had no problems with the straps, it hought they secured very well, but as i was making my decent from the tree the bottom set bent. I only weigh 190 pounds and have used sticks before so i dont know where the problem came from. it was a quick fix though i simply took it off the tree and used another bottom piece i had brought from another stand : (. These ARE very quiet and simple to use, i definitely wouldnt call the sturdy after that one broke though. I guess you get what you pay for. If you want a cheap set of steps just to use to hang your stands like i did, these are fine..... if you want something to trust all year, these probably arent what you are looking for."

nice stick ladder,January 12, 2009
By doewhackerfrom NORTH CENTRAL, MS
"This is a nice stick ladder. It packs around quiet and goes up easy. The only thingthat I didn't like was the paint job, rust started showing up all over it within a few days but who cares I was going to repaint all my stands thisyear anyway. JESUS SAVES"

Getting Up There,December 2, 2008
By Chiefrb
"Wow! I have other climbing sticks, but this is my first 20 footer. I love the thing with the exception of those little stopper things they put in the ends of the foot pegs (They fall out). If I need to purchase any more it will definitly be this length. Good quality, good construction."

Easy Climbing,November 4, 2008
By jporchikfrom NJ
"This would have gotten 5 Stars if the straps were a rachet instead of cinch straps. All-in-all a good bargin and it is easy to climb even with large feet. You will need some where to lay it out BEFORE you put the tree brackets on so you don't have to take it apart and do it again."

Big Game 20-Ft Quick Stick XL,October 14, 2008
By MrCrockettfrom Bluefield VA
"This is a good product but the plugs fall out. Poorly made and cheap. If you don't glue them in, they will fall out, so you can't use this right out of the box. If the plugs stayed in, I would give them a 5 star."

Quick Sticks,October 13, 2008
By 44RidgeRunnerfrom Betsy Layne, KY
"Easy and quick to assemble! Heavy duty and rugged, well worth the price. Wish they were a little lighter to carry (especially when you have walk a distance uphill to get in your tree stand). Overall good buy and would purchase them again!"

By monkerfrom Syracuse, NY
"Great portable ladder system. easy to assemble and well made. The plastic plugs on the rungs don't seem to stay put, and it's a little heavy to be carrying a long distance. Well made and should last a long time. I can see why they were backordered. I wouldn't hesitate to get another."

Sticks work great,September 4, 2008
By SouthJerseyfrom Mays Landing, NJ
"These sticks work well, are easy to assemble, and put against a tree. They aren't too heavy for a one person job. They've been attached to a tree for only two weeks, but no signs of rust as of yet. For the price, who cares, I'd buy another set in a heartbeat."

Big Game Sticks,February 20, 2008
By Racker21from New Jersey
"What a difference!!! I was using screw-ins for the past 10years and decided to switch to the sticks. My stand was set up in more then half the time. And relocating the stand was just as easy. I feel I lot safer climbing the sticks then I do with the screw-ins. I highly recoomend this product to everyone. I plan on purchasing (4) mores sets so I have many options during hunting. Thanks"

Big Game 20-FT. Quick Stick Review,February 8, 2008
By JoeHunter57from Bay City, Michigan
"I haven't had a chance to use this product yet but, judging from the quality of workmanship and the overall looks of the product I have to say it is of very good quality, and atleast as good as any product on the market of this type. The only thing that I don't like is the weight of it, 25 lbs., this could be a little difficult to carry for any distance, even though it does come with a heavy duty carrying strap(not supplied by many others). This equipment will work for me!"

Not great, but they get the job done.,February 2, 2008
By CabelasAddict44from Rochester, NY
"These climbing sticks didn’t set off any fireworks for me, and I probably won’t buy another set until I have tried a few other kinds. The first set that was shipped to me had paint flakes peeling off and the metal underneath was starting to rust. Cabela’s customer service, being as great as it is, promptly replaced the first set, but the second set also had a few of the same blemishes to a lesser extent. I also found that the straps provided were difficult to tighten. I plan on replacing them with ratchet straps this summer. So, after I replace all eight straps I might as well have invested in a slightly better set. I also fund it rather awkward to unclip my linesman’s belt and clip on my safety harness because the rungs are staggered the entire height of the sticks. However, for the purchase price these sticks will get the job done."

Quick Sticks,September 18, 2007
By Charlie62from Hanson,KY
"The Quick Stick ladder is a great deal for the money and seem to be sturdy and easy to use. The only thing that could be improved, is the straps would fasten tighter if they were ratchet, instead of pull tight straps."
