"The rubber eyecup doesn't stay down and I have to remove it completely when using my regular glasses. Also some objects it won't tell me the yards, like the distance between two brown steel power poles."

"Light weight, compact, easy to operate, very clear optics, especially in low light, not much interference from extraneous objects other than the target. Accurate, compared it to premeasured distances and it was spot on. Very happy with the choice, it is invaluable in the field."

"It worked for one time out. After that I couldn't count on it working at all. It would just lock up and do nothing just give you 888 for your range. I would check prior to driving to my spot to make sure it was working and by the time I got up in my stand it stopped again. The gal at returns said they had, had many of these come back. Also focus isn't very good.
Sorry! Save up for a better one. I replaced mine with some new camo and I'll save through the summer for a better one."

"Very pleased with the product. Great for bowhunting, no problems with it and easy to use. Equally as impressed with Cabela's quick response and action to my return of a malfunctioned rangefinder that was replaced with a new VLR. "This product is perfect for the bow hunter. The size and shape makes it easy to use and cary in a pack or on a belt. battery doesn't last very long and moisture is a down fall."

"For what I need the Cabel's VLR Laser Rangefinder does the job and it does it quick. Not a lot of buttons and differant modes to worry about. The manual was short and to the point. I was ranging up and down the block in 15 minutes. I ranged a boar last weekend in Nothern Calif. while bow hunting in the dawn's early light and I did quite well thanks to this rangefinder. I felt the price was right and I would buy it again."

"This is a great product... I have used on the golf course as well... Has taken some of the guess work out of the game... Ok I can't hit the ball any better but at least I know how far I'm away. Buy this.... If it works on the golf course I know it will work this fall."

"This was my first rangefinder, ever, and I love it. The price was right, the buttons were easy to use. It came with a little case. The measurements were accurate. It's compact, and it feels pretty durable. I would recommend this to anyone."

"I purchased the VLR Rangefinder primarily for bowhunting, so ranging from the treestand was very important to me. I find that being compact and light weight allows me to carry it anywhere without feeling like I'm carrying a brick. It is very simple to operate and the scan mode is a great feature that I didn't realize I needed until after I used it. I would recommend this product to anyone looking to improve their hunt or target shooting."
