"This camo is as pictured on line,not what you would think of as a true digital desert camo print at least none I've ever seen.Nice poncho overall but the head is smaller than most ponchos."

"great poncho! the head area is a little tight on me, but I have a big head. :) it has quality snaps, and is easy-on, easy-off. bought it for an Appleseed shoot and it did not rain. but it will soon! heh."

"Bought just before turkey season. Took it out one day in light rain and it repelled the water for about 30 mins and then it started to soak in. Not a great product. I sprayed it with some waterproofing and am going to try it on the boat and if it soaks through it is going straight back to cabelas. I like the lightweight material and the camo, but the point of a poncho is to stay dry, right??!!"

"Just Like everything I have ever purchased from Cabela's, just as described. The poncho is light weight but effective. I try for the best light weight gear for my sojurns into the Grand Canyon. This item filled the bill at a reasonable price."

"Actually, "Military Spec" is just a brand name. I haven't used this in the field yet, but the material appears pretty flimsy, and more important, it's small. Half my forarms are exposed when I wear the poncho, and I'm not a big person. This poncho will probably be good enough for my purposes, but I wouldn't recommend it."

"The first time I wore it (the Poncho),my clothes underneath got wet. Water soaks thru when in contact on shoulders and hat or when you sit on poncho on wet surface. Very disappointed considering the cost and shipping."

"This poncho is great to have on those days when it MAY rain. Saves me lugging around a heavy jacket when I don't need it. It just folds up and goes in the rucksack. Takes up next to no space and is very light yet strong as well."

"I have yet to field test this poncho, so durability isn't fully known yet, but it seems to be a durable material. It is also lightweight (I own an older military poncho that is heavier)
Everything looks really good on it and I like the bag that it comes with.
This isn't one of the cheap poncho you buy that every time you use it, you find another hole in it! Much better in size, material, and design than any other poncho I've yet seen.
1 star off because one of the metal snaps wasn't connected the poncho properly."

"I purchaced the ponchos for a survial trip in aug and for hiking trips that we take often.
I did try it on and it fits well and is light weight, also it compacts to a very small size which is good for putting in my pack.
overall i rate this a good product and am planning to order another one for my son in the very near future.
