"Very happy with this rangefinder so far. I just purchased it
this year so as far as dependability I can't speak of it. But my
prior rangefinder was a Bushnell and I didn't have any problems. This Sport 450 is light, compact and accurate.The price was also very reasonable"

Do not buy this product,

"I bought this rangefinder about 3 weeks ago and am extremely dissatisfied. I can not range my 3-D target at 30 yards, or trees at 40 yards, in my backyard. At the rifle range, it would not pick up a 4x8 sheet of plywood at 200 yards. Spend some extra money and buy a Nikon, thats what I am going to do."

"Bushnell Sport 450 Review:
Pros: Accurate within +/- 2 yds out to 50 yds
Cons: HORRIBLE in low light conditions... you can't see much at dawn or dusk when deer are most active. Even in broad daylight the view through these is obviously darker. The optics somehow go out-of-focus at times - which seems to be temperature related, and there is no adjustment to re-focus. They have never been able to acquire a target beyond 100 yds - no matter how large and reflective.
I bought a new pair for twice the cost and can't describe the increase in quality/usability. In fact, the 6x optics are so good in my new pair, I can leave my 10x42 binocs at home during archery season.
I'm all for buying "value" items but in this case it turned out to be a complete waste."

"This is a very good product for the price. I have owned mine for about 2.5 yrs now and use it it both hunting situations while in tree stands as well as in a 3D league to verify yardage after shooting. One drawback that I do find is that it consistently measures about 1 yard too far where the target is under fifty yards. I know this to be true based not only on other rangefinders but with the actual measurment using a measuring tape."

"I recieved one of these for Christmas last year and it's getting a serious workout. Gives fast, accurate readings. We measured some of the shorter distances I shot with it, out to one hundred yards, and it is accurate. I don't use it while hunting to tell me the distance to my game. I use it to teach myself to estimate range. It's great fun, guessing the range to a distant object, then shooting it with the rangefinder and seeing who's closest. You'll be amazed at how badly you underestimate range across water. I am now able to estimate range much more accurately."

"I received this product as a Christmas present and so far have been very please with it. Although I have not used it in a "hunting" situation yet, I have used it several times in the field to do some scouting. The only negative so far is it sometimes does not "read" the object (especially at long distances). I will continue to use it out in the woods and range and will report back."

"once again not dissapointed by bushnell. rangefinder works great, I have used it out to 500 yards and compared it to a leica and it was within a few yards. 150 for the bushnell 2000 for the leica. u do the math"

"Tried a buddies Leopold product and thought this would be good enough...very wrong. Device has difficulty reflecting off most target in the real hunting atmosphere. Usually try to range a thick birch trunk or yellowing maple to guage ranges in a field. Doesn't work on game directly over 150 yards."

"This is an awesome rangefinder. It takes the ranges in less than a second. Mine came without a yards to meter changer, but I wouldn't use it anyway. It only won't take ranges in too much dark or less than 5 yards. Overall, great tool."

"I purchased the rangefinder for on our rifle range. To zero and practise shooting. I also plan to use it while on our annual South Dakota Hunt. Buying it in the winter in Wisconsin does not provide much of a chance to try it out. I purchased the Bushnelll Sport 450 because it is the lowest cost unit for what I need and it a Bushnell. A good name.

"This rangefinder let me down. I have to click on a stationary object 3 times minimum in order to register a reading. While the readings are accurate, it's still frustrating."

"Before I purchased the 450 Bushnell I researched and read the reviews.This product does what it is supposed to, the price is great,and the product is quality. I gave 4 stars instead of five because some objects when reflected back are to small to give a reading accurately, on larger objects it is dead on"
