situations. Vertical configuration offers comfortable one-handed operation. BullsEye, Brush and SCAN modes. Aiming circle
reticle and low-light display. Diopter adjustment with click-stops. Built-in tripod mount. Runs on a 3-volt battery

"I just think when you look in it you cant see the numbers nice and clear because they are so small and i want to look real quick when that buck is standing there and not have to squint. So i'll be sending mine back"

"This is a great rangefinder for the price. I was able to range a deer at 550 yards without a problem. I haven't had a chance to use the ARC feature to its fullest, but it shows promise. I would defiantly recommend."

"I looked high and low for a range finder I could use when hunting extremely rugged terrain in archery and general season. For the price this is it. I only wish it used a more common 9-volt batt."
best rangefinder of all, better than leupold/nikon,January 18, 2009
By matt989from az
"i purchased two other rangefinders before buying this one. i tried the leupold rx-II with the button being heard from pigs at 30 yards and the nikon riflehunter that had horrible coloring in lower light. i did not want a bushnell due to past rangefinders taking a dump after 2 years. but its the only rangefinder that is crystal clear, can range over 300 yards where all functions work every time and is accurate and quiet. This is by far the best rangefinder i have ever owned!"
Read before you buy!,January 13, 2009

"Bushnell makes two modes for this unit, one for archers and one for rifle hunters. The concept for the archery mode is great, it calculates distance and angle and tells you the yardage you should hold at. The problem is it only ranges to 99 yards. The rifle mode does the same thing, but tells you how many inches to hold over. This may be great for the guy looking to "hit" the animal, but if you shoot with boone & crockett reticles or have target turret elevation adjustments, this rangefinder will do nothing for you. If they made the rifle mode work the same as bow mode I wouldn't send it back."
Excellent,January 1, 2009

"I used this product mostly for bowhunting, but feel it would be useful for all types of hunting and found it to work perfectly. I also used it for finding distances while sighting in my rifles and it performed flawlessly. I would recommend this product to anyone."
"this is a great investment for any bowhunter... a small price to pay when the buck of a lifetime walks out in front of you.. The rangefinder is easy to use and light... I used it on the weekend to check out how close i was at my existing treestands.. at the 20-25 yard mark i was close but beyond 30 yards my error increased considerably.. Great for pre season preperation and building confidence."
Bushnell Yardage Pro Scout ARC Laser Rangefinder,November 18, 2008
By MikefromMTfrom Anaconda, MT
"Excellent product!!! I used a rangefinder in the past but was never satisfied with the results. This product is simply put "Wonderful". The picture it give is very clear. I have taken it to the range were everything is measured out and this rangefinder is right on. Programing it to your specific weapon and bullet useage is a snap with the included CD. Thank You Bushnell for another great product!!! Thank You Cabela's for carrying the Best of the Best!!! Mike"
Bushnell scout 1000 arc,November 18, 2008
By OklaDeerHunterfrom Deer Hunter from Oklahoma
"Great product!!! My only complaint is that it will not display the " True range" after angle compensation beyond 99yards. The 1000arc will compensate for the drop of your rifle beyond 99yards, but will only list the correct hold over not the actual true distance. I personally want to know what the actual distance is after compensating for the angle. That way I can decide how much I need to hold over for the shot. The 1000arc has 10 settings to choose from to match your cartridge. I do not mean to be scepticle but I do not think that 10 settings can calculate the correct hold over for all the different cartridges and loads available. That being said I still like the product and am happy with it."

"Wow what a great range finder, for the average working person hunting as much as time allows looking to spend just a little more money but stay within a budget you cannot beat the price. The clarity when ranging not to mention the distance you can see is fantastic. I especially like the ability to switch from one mode to another depending on whether I am bow or gun hunting. The ability it has to tell you the difference between your actual range from your target and the degree of angulation you are from it makes buying a model with the ARC well worth it."
Great Binocs,October 28, 2008

"I am so glad that I decided to buy the Scout ARC Laser RangeFinder since it has been a great product. I had a hard time deciding on what kind of range finder to purchase but me being an avid bowhunter, I needed something that could calculate angles rather than just true line of sight. I like to get up a tree anywhere from 20 to 30 feet up the tree so having this particular rangefinder will take out all the guess work on how far your target is. I have already taking 2 deer this year using this finder with one being at a mere 20 yards and the other at 42 yards. Hope this helps for anyone who is looking at buying this RangeFinder and trust me you will not be dissapointed."
One season device,October 27, 2008
By ElkHunter44from Danville, CA
"Bought a scout about 2 years ago for a 7 day elk archery hunt. Worked OK 1st season. 2nd season would not work at all. Retrurned to Bushnell and was willing to pay for repair. Bushnell sent back and offered to sell me a new one at no discount. I expected Bushnell to stand by their product. That was the last Bushnell product for me. I now own a Leopold range finder and am very happy with the superior quality product."
WA State Mule Deer,October 19, 2008
By CPTuttlefrom Marysville, WA
"Spotted a bedded down 4x4 Mule Deer Buck across the draw, sitting motionless for what seemed like 15 minutes, guessed 450', actual was 395' with a 21" drop on my federal 150Gr. balistic tip nosler. Nocked him down with one shot. This rangefinder was spot on. I checked it against my brother's high end rangefinder, and it was the same. Easy to use, foolproof, simple setup, and thanks to Bushnell and Cabella's, I now have a freezer full of venison and a very nice rack to hang in the gargage."
