Ameristep Signature Series Intimidator Ground Blind - Realtree® AP HD®

Exclusive NS3 Micro-Tech fabric makes Ameristep's Signature Series some of the most effective blinds available. This fleece fabric has a dull finish to eliminate all visible sheen, while being whisper quiet and completely waterproof. The strap-free, fully adjustable camo mesh window system offers 360? viewing in all directions for optimal visibility. Reinforced carbon-coated shadow guard lining eliminates shadows and silhouettes, while also keeping scent within the blind. The shoot-through sections are replaceable and have a noise-free magnetic curtain. Flip-up reflective orange patches make it easier to find your blind, just use a flashlight in the dark to see the reflective tape. On the inside are three sealed camera ports and a shelf for keeping gear within close reach. Stubble pockets across roof and under windows. Ground skirt keeps elements out and scent in. The floor can be unzipped and removed. Includes stakes, high-wind tie-down ropes and backpack carry case with padded shoulder straps and bow/gun-holder carry system. Camo pattern: Realtree? AP HD?. "I had trouble with the poles as well and found out they have changed their system. They have been great to work with at Ameristep!
I could not believe how deer didn't pay attention to this and shot a doe and buck in an hour from it."

"I used it for the 1st time yesterday, and it had a broken fiberglass support already. It is hard to take down and put in bag also."

"after reading reviews i thought the blind was poorly designed but after using it i realize that it's not too bad to set up and works great.. i don't know how anyone could break those rods unless you're hard on equipment.. i've set it up a dozen times and never had a problem.. I just wish the window cover wasn't one piece so you could switch from a front to back set up without shaking the tent.. i'd recommend it to anyone not just for turkeys, but deer too."

"This one gives the Double Bull a good run. Plenty of options for 360 visibility. Roomy in my opinion. The material is of very good quality. The camo is great. This blind while a bit bulky (the price you pay for quality) it is very easy to set up & take down. This blind is very quiet even in a stiff wind. The option of putting the zip in floor is great for protection from ticks & other nasty insects. I liked this blind so much I am ordering 3 more for my kids. Ameristep has a good thing going here. The snow camo that they offer is a great option for the early snows or the late season."

"I've been looking for a ground blind for some time, talked with others and read all the reviews. Finally made the decision and bought the Ameristep Intimidator blind and was very satisfied with my purchase. Easy setup and take down - why others struggle with the take down is difficult to understand since it was pretty basic. Setup was quick and easy. Liked the backpack carrier, which includes a gun/bow holder. Blind material appears to be very durable and very well constructed. Can't wait for Turkey season so I can put it to the test, plan to use it for Elk, Bear, and Deer hunting too."

"Overall, I'm very pleased with this blind. I've been using it for 3 weeks now, and it has worked out very well. It blends in well, it is very easy to use, and it easily shelters two rifle hunters. It has also held up well to our extreme November, Western SD weather and wind. I previously used a doghouse blind, and had trouble with it in the wind, and with its zippers. The only problem that I've had with this blind, is I had two of the metal pole ends that fit into the hub break, when I was taking it down, even though I was trying to be extra careful. I went ahead and ordered some new pole ends, and installed them, and most importantly, loosened some of the tension on the hubs, and have had no more trouble since. I would highly recommend this blind to anyone."

"I reviewed many tents and found this to be the best deal on 360 degree view and it worked great in my harvesting two deer last year. I also like that the windows also work as a gun rest for a rock steady 145 yard shot that found its mark. set up is a bit tricky the first few times and then a breeze."

"I am sending it back as one of the poles was broke when removed from the box, I should have paid attenation to other reviews about this style of pole system failing a lot. I bought it because of the floor and magnetic curtins, they would be great with another style pole system."

"I bought this on-line through Cabela's. The directions for set up and take down are poor. When taking it down I broke two of the rods because I did not know what I was doing. I was in a hurry. I did like the size, shape, and concealment ability with this blind. I would have to say that I called Ameristep and they replaced the rods right away free of charge even though it was my fault. That is excellent business policy. It was heavier than I expected, not something that you could use for run and gun turkey hunting."

"For the money this is a pretty good unit. The biggest issue I have is with the window covering or curtain attachments. The hooks for the screens work for when you are only using the screens if not they are in the way of the curtain magnets. The curtain magnets are not strong enough and take a lot of patience to get everything in place the way you want it though never 100 % right. The hooks for the screens would work well for the curtains. All in all you can make it work especially for the money."

"I have been eying up ground-blinds now for the past 2 seasons, and after a friend had given me a DVD on the Double Bull line, I was really chomping at the bit over the Double Bull, but it was just way too over priced (IMO).
The rest of the of the story goes like this...I was able to get into the store and see for myself a true comparison of features and materials used in a few of the top of the line blinds....The Signature Series won me over in a heart beat with the NS3 material, 360* view and magnetic windows and with the 50$ rebate it was a "No Brain'er".
I would highly recommend the Intimidator Blind to anyone who's interested in getting out of the trees, and onto the ground.
I found the blind is easy to set up and take down...and am looking forward to opening bow Oct 1..... this was one for the money! (which was probably why they were sold out in Dundee)"

"This blind has nice 360 degree viewing, camo color, appears loaded with features. However, it comes with very limited instructions, the set up was time consuming for one person to do, but once it was up I really liked it. Problem was the plastic clips that hold the attachable shelf inside both broke the first time I used it. I found the take down very cumbersome and one of the hard plastic hubs broke upon trying to fold it up. Not impressed with the quality of this blind for the cost. I returned the blind for a refund."

"Well made blind!!! Had the Full Draw 5X blind, rods in the hub broke (4 of them), set-up was a pain. This blind beats it hands down!!! Set-up is very simple, material is heavy duty, carry case was a nice suprise. Not to sure on the Stealth Gillie Blind Cover System! Bought it for the 3-D look. I like the concept, not to keen on the set-up. The strands just hang there, there is nothing around the bottom to hold them to the blind. Getting this thing on the blind is not fun, and what ever you do don't get a twist in the top. I'm sure a little practice will fix this!"

"The blind is good but clasp that hold the hangon shelf broke the first time i put them on. so now i have to find another clasp and the product looks like im sitting in the starts with the amount of small holes in the sides and roof. but that could be fixed woth a can of camp dry and the clasp can be fixed with small carribeaner. i might be slaming the probuct but thoes are small problems But i like this blind and i deff would recomend it to other people like i have already."

"This a great blind with easy setup and take down but for heaven sakes those stupid instruction for take down are horrible. And the only other problem is the blind leaks through the bottom of the windows.
