perfect little seat,
November 17, 2009
By UPdrafter
from Ishpeming, MI
|
"I've spent dozens (maybe hundreds of hours) hunting in this chair. I find it much more comfortable than a four legged (square) model and the tripod design is much more stable on varying ground. it might not fit some people very well, but I'm stout and it works great for me. I added my own carry strap, and a velcro strip to keep it closed, but it's light enough to strap to my backpack for a day of any kind of hunting"

Very Uncomfortable,
October 23, 2009
By Speed5152
from Illinois
|
"This has to be the most uncomfortable chair/seat I have ever set in. The V shape DOES NOT work for a man. The front hits you exactly in the wrong place. Also, it's pretty cheap built. As others have commented it's also a little to tall for the typical blind. I used it part of one season then went back to a lawn chair and this stool went in a garage sale."

3 legged stool,

"Built very sturdy. However, that make it heavy and it has no carrying strap making it a poor choice for a hunting blind or goose pit where everything has to be carried in"

Cabela's Lightning Stools,
June 15, 2009
By cboutfitting
from Del Rio, TX
|
"These stools open up quickly and with one hand. While bowhunting I have to drop clients off in pitch dark and need simplicity while doing so. These stools are quiet with no squeak when the hunter shifts his weight a little. Some have complained about the size of the seat and wish it could be bigger for larger people. They fit my fanny just fine!"

Perfect for kids in ground blinds,
May 12, 2009
By Lindzy
from Three Forks Montana
|
"These chairs are the perfect height for kids to see out the windows of a ground blind. Plus, at six foot two, they fit me perfectly. Most chairs are too short for me.
The best part is they cost much less than other similar chairs, about two for the price of one."

Better than expected,
April 14, 2009
By MJIL
from N/E IL
|
"I picked up two of these for turkey hunting out of a Primos blind. I previously had bought a Double Bull seat in the fall. It would be perfect if I was still in the 5th grade. No way an adult can sit in them. The Cabela's seat was taller, made out of a better frame, and bigger. Flat out more comfortable. I will be getting two more on my next trip."

Stool Review,
March 30, 2009
By LongLeg
from Vancouver, WA
|
"Slightly stinky...
Works well, but closer inspection reveals that the third leg should have been positioned to the rear so as to give support when leaning back or from recoil, which is what this chair is supposed to be all about.
Basically, this is a camp stool. Don't use it for shooting."
