works pretty well,January 13, 2009
By kromagfrom springfield, VA
"I liked enough, so I got one for my Dad as well. I made a fram out of 2x4's so it would stay up. this works if you do not have to transport it every day. If you have to transport it, I would go with a 3-D paper target. I watched one buck come right into it and at 3 different times it stopped running Does dead in their tracks and all offered great shots."

Loose Legs,December 29, 2008
By AATGfrom Gladwin. Michigan
"While I was impressed with the detail and realism of this decoy the one drawback was that the legs did not attach well. Every time I handled the decoy the legs would become very loose and sometimes even fall off the body. Needs better engineering to reinforce the fit between leg and body. The reaction of deer to the decoy was for the most part good, some were a little spooked."

Good Decoy,December 14, 2008
By richie106from Iron Range, MN
"Decoy worked for me in northern Minnesota. Would be nice to have a better way to anchor it in the ground. I didn't have problems, but I hunt in thick woods with little wind to worry about."

Poor assembly,December 2, 2008
By Crestonfrom British Columbia
"I setup two doe decoy in one of my field and was not to impress with the whole assembly. The legs and head are very poorly fitted and barely hold together. The decoy itself look great very realistic but in my opinion that's all."

10 point,December 1, 2008
By bcdivefrom Jupiter, Fl
"i recommend this to anyone that is hunting the rut, The first time I used it a doe ran up to it and stopped for about a minute. 2minutes behind her came a 10 point. I tried to stop him by grunting with no luck, but when he saw the decoy he stopped in his tracks and that the was long enough for me to make the shot."

disappointed,November 24, 2008
By normweiserfrom Linden, Michigan
"I really like the looks of the decoy but the way it is put together I am not pleased with. I feel it is cheap. Plastic screw caps for the legs; not a tight fit. I own a Carry Lite decoy as well, I like it much better. I wanted a second decoy to have a buck and doe set. I would go ahead and spend the extra money on a Carry Lite decoy."

Money well spent,November 14, 2008
By lonetreestalkerfrom Southeastern South Dakota
"If you are a hunter that is thinking about buying a deer decoy I would push this decoy on you over any other. I have decoyed for 8 years now with the same decoy. I purchased the horn kit for it and have turned it into a smaller buck. I have found that durning the pre-rut and early rut the buck decoy can be a very exciting and creative way of luring those bucks within bow range. This decoy is not exactly life size by which I mean it is about the size of a large yearling. Don't be afraid to buy it though. When a buck comes into range it will be less likely to spook or blow out. A buck will come in and see that his challenger is a lesser opponent and will be more likely to engage. My decoy found out one night that he isn't safe. I had a 170 class buck come in with another 140 class buck and I paying attention to the 140 because he came in first and I didn't see the bigger buck untill it was to late. He had t-ed off on my decoy and literaly exploded it. The head, the ears, and the hind legs all came flying off upon contact. WHAT A SIGHT!! It has since been repainted and the hind legs are now held on by sheet rock screws. The only down fall to this decoy is the injection molding. The seams on the ears tend to crack in cold weather when you go to take apart or load in your truck. One nicee feature is the fact that you can carry it while assembled. I know you can disassemble it and pack it into the cavity, but this is loud and time consuming so I put it up on my shoulder and away we go. I highly recommend this decoy. Get Out and fool and monter."

Flambeau Masters Series Doe Deer Decoy,September 3, 2008
By ldhollidayfrom Central Kansas
"I bought one of these decoys way back when using decoys was first heard about. Then after using this decoy I bought another the next year. The first decoy I bought, I set it up as a little fork horn buck. I blew a bleat call to get some action going from a group of does that were close by. When I did that a huge doe came crashing into the area, followed by a pretty nice 8 point. I then grabbed my grunt call and blew a couple of low grunts, and the buck spun around to see the decoy standing there, well his ears laid back and the hair stood up on his back and he walked towards the decoy stiff legged with both front legs. He did this to within 10 feet of that decoy, and this set up was only 15 yards from my treet stand. I just could not belive what was going on right there in front of me. This all took place the 3rd week of November here in Central Kansas. Given this was no trophy buck, and I have not killed any trophies using these decoys, but I have killed bucks that most anyone would not ever pass up while using these decoys. Now I use the 2 decoys as does, in such a way to look like the does are grooming each other, and this set up has worked every year to bring in a buck. I now have 20 buck harvested by using these decoys. There is only one draw back that I can think of about these decoys, they can be a bit noisy while carring them out to your area, when all the parts are stored inside the body, but I just wrap the parts in some old torn up blanket and it pretty much solves that problem. I also have not had to touch up the paint on the decoys after all of the years and hard use they have had. I will give this decoy 5 stars."
