"bought camera last week first night 10 pointer and then sat [7]different bucks great pics and nice pics even in the rain and fog highly recommend just really saved alot of time and told us how many deer come in and what class of bucks we have around here in the county !!!"

Great camera,

"I have had this camera for over a year. Actually have 2 and will order another one today. It is great. I had a picture last fall of a 14+ point huge deer. Have a wonderful picture of him. Like a dream picture. Couldn't believe it was my patch and my camera. Never saw him in the day during hunting, but I had many pictures of him on my camera. Sometimes that will make you mad, but at least you know he is there somewhere. Also had a really nice perfect 8 point. Did see him once. I love this camera. Have recommended it to co workers and family. It takes good pictures. The flash doesn't go out very far, but it does let you see some deer out from the camera. The batteries last pretty good. I use the SD card and change it out whenever I have pictures on it. You can load these on a computer and save to disk and erase the SD card. Also you can view it on the TV and that is nice. I will order another one today. It has to be a good camera in order for me to want 3 of them."

"so far so good. only had up for couple of weeks and have had pretty good results. viewer a little hard to see in sunlight because of glare but in shade it has a good image. have had a few mystery pictures with nothing but landscape but doesn't seem to be missing any wildlife coming by. simple enough for anyone to use after reading manual."

"I have more pictures of deers Butts than anything else, if they are standing infront of the food plot not moving it takes fairly decent photos, ive had this cam for 3 years now and im fed up with all the missed photos! this thing will take pictures of branches moving in the wind but not a deer walking by at more than 1mph. Spend a little extra money on one with a faster shutter speed, especially if your in MI and cant bait because our DNR "knows everything" and thinks not baiting will help!"

"THIS CAMERA IS EASY TO USE. HAD 90 PIC'S IN THE FIRST TWO HOUR'S.PIC'S AND VIDEO LOOK'S GOOD. ONLY TOOK ABOUT 20 MINUTE'S TO SET UP. COULD VIEW PIC'S WITH VIEW WINDOW AND ON TV,BUT CANNOT GET TO CONNECT TO COMPUTER. ONLY HAD A COUPLE OF DAY'S."

"The Camera works great, the built in viewer, is something I realy like, havent had it long enough to see how long the batteries will last { two weeks} so for its good. The only thing I found I did not like is way it fasten's to tree, without spending alot more money for acceseres someone can steal it easy"

"I have had this camera for several years, and havent had any problems with it besides the holes for the bunggies, they break especially in the cold weather. It takes great day and night pictures and is alot faster than i though it was going to be for what i paid for it.. i am buying another Moulrie 5.0 here in a few days!!!"

"I bought this for my brother for a birthday present and it took a few tries of getting it in the right spot... but after putting it in a strategic place near one of his apple trees we started to get really incredible pictures of deer. I would recommend buying the stand for it- huge difference and well worth it. You will be able to really use it anywhere with that. I am against hunting including deer hunting so we use this for admiring the animals and not for murdering them. It is also good for catching poachers. The sensor is "sensortive" so you will get pictures triggered by the wind or bugs. And I would also strongly recommend an SD card to go with it too to compensate for those shots. The regular flash doesn't seem to bother the animals too much- at least I hope not. The viewfinder is AWESOME. Don't listen to any negative comments on that!"

"This trail cam is the best I have used yet. I have other cameras from moultrie and this one is so easy to set up.The display on it is real nice. Picture quality is also good on it. I recomend getting the 4gb sd card for it . Battery life is alot longer on it than other cameras."

"I've had this now for about 4 weeks. Easy set up. Takes great pictures and the range is better than expected. I've gotten pretty clear photos of the deer in my back woods in daylight and with the flash. The only thing is the battery life wasn't as long as stated but no big deal. I'm glad I went with the built in viewer model - definitely worth the extra money. Overall a great camera for the money. I made the right choice!"

"I set it up at a freshly dug den in a meadow to see what was living in it. The next day I had shots of red fox at 3 different times during the night and one of a groundhog in the morning. Easy to set up, only a few shots with no animals in it but it did what I wanted it to do. The bungee cords are pretty lame."

"I purchased the Moultrie 5.) Outfitted Cam, with Built in Viewer in July of 2008. I used it extensively during the fall of 2008 and have over 140 photos of elk, mule deer, pacific black bear and turkeys. I was so impressed with the camera and the excelant photos, that I purchased a second camera, of the same description, make model, etc., in January of 2009. I am eagerly awaiting the coming warm weather so that I can enjoy the use of both cameras.
I highly recommend this camera for consideration by anyone who is interested in buying a quality, high performance and dependable camera."

"good camera, havent got to use it too much yet, but when i did use it for a couple days it seemed to catch even a bug moving threw the view and my old camera couldnt catch me in front of it, so far it is doing good. and regardless from what the other reveiws said about the biult in viewer, i think it works great."
