"The first morning that I used this I drug it on a rag for about 200 feet before I got close to my stand. I hung the rag about 6 feet in a cedar tree about 100 feet from my stand. At 7am a nice 6 point came right to the rag and sniffed. He had followed the scent with his nose to the ground. I have not seen those results since that morning, but am convinced that it can be effective with the right wind."

"in 2005 i set out a scent trail soaking a rope tied to my ankle with this scent. less than an hour later i arrowed my first deer, which was an 8 point buck that dressed out at 180lbs. the spread was about 14 inches. i guess not too bad for a first deer, especially with a bow inside of 10 yards! this year i had a button buck cross my scent trail and he followed it just as well as the 8 point except i took him at 18 yards instead of 7. i also hung the cotton patch i used as a drag from a branch so more scent would get into the air. i can even smell it when wind off the patch hits my face, so i can only imagine what a deer smells. anytime a deer has crossed the scent trail that i know of, it came right where i laid it. setting this scent out does not magically make deer appear by the stand, but if they cross the scent trail it will get their attention where i hunt at. i've shot my 8 point and button buck with this lure and its on the poor college student budget i live with, so i will continue to use it."

"Hasn't seem to work for me either, had a small buck come across my scents but it just walked away. Too many factors...*shrugs* but it's cheap... I guess you get what you pay for."

"In the 07-08 season I haven't had any luck with it. The deer crossed my scent trail and didn't even act like they smelled anything. I will keep trying though."
