"I was close to buying the series. Fortunately I read the other reviews. I bought only this one. If you have read anything at all about QDM, you are way past anything you'll get from this DVD. Some nice stories of friends and family tagging deer, and some nice bucks, video'd in the same spot, looks like the same day. There is no hands on advice (other than VERY basic) as far as food plots or "landscaping". Shooting does is the best advice from this DVD I came away with. Something anyone with any interest in QDM knows. Bottom line, you won't learn much about building anything from this DVD. You will see video of it when it's done."

"Very dissapointed in these videos. I bought the whole series and feel that it was a complete waste of money. Very unorganized production. Seems like they just grabbed a camera and started collecting random footage about food plots. I didn't learn a thing. It is anything but step by step instructions as the description states. I wish I could give it 0 stars."

"I just watched Volume 2. It is incoherent, rambling, and lacks any significant information to help you build a food plot. In several places it seems like you are about to learn something, then it skips to something completely unrelated and doesn't return to the point. Clearly a home-produced video not up to Cabelas normally high standards."

"I considered buying the complete series, but opted to purchase the DVD which discussed "Hunting Plots"....glad I did not purchase the complete series as I was VERY UNIMPRESSED with the info on this DVD as well as how poorly it was produced. It was a waste of my time watching it...not to mention a waste of money."

"If you are serious about food plots then go ahead and buy this entire collection. I bought the entire thing and have enjoyed watching it. Mr. Coin the guy who made these videos and he is an absolute food plot nut case. He is very serious about his food plots and cares for them year round. I have to admit that I do the same thing.
Weather your a seasoned food plotter or just getting started this is a good series of videos for you. I learned some good information about plowing angles, seed that work and seeds that are sold as food plots that deer will not touch!!!!
You will be surprised to find out which seeds do not work. There is a very popular seed type that deer just will not eat. It is demonstrated on this video that deer will not touch it and I have seen it in person on my own farm. It is worth the price to find out what seed you are wasting your time with.
I think - I am not sure, but I think this is the guy who started the QDM movement. Watch the videos and see how this guy grows 170 and 180 class deer on a 26 acre farm!"
