Excellent Camera,December 8, 2007
By Anonymousfrom Southern Minnesota
"This is a very good camera. This camera is very easy to set up without even reading the manual. Over 300 pictures taken so far, without a flaw. Pictures are of very good quality both day and night. Video clips are also very good. Built in viewer is a big plus. The picture labeling is awesome. I have had the camera in the woods taking pictures every day since Oct. 1st and still have 78% battery power yet. This is truly a very high quality camera from Moultrie!! Camera works well on trails as well as at feeding stations. I would recommend buying at least a 1 GB SD card as your memory will fill fast with this camera. Takes pictures of all kinds of wildlife, not just big game. I have many pictures of birds in flight on mine!! Very highly recommended camera for the money."

Terrible repair center/Faulty equipment,November 5, 2009
By cmwhunterfrom Central Oregon
"Don't buy this camera or any Moultrie product. Their repair center is terrible. The camera came with a faulty pin in the door for the batteries and TV out jack that broke off the TV out jack in the camera. The camera has now been with Moutrie for a month. They told me they would have it back to my by our hunting season. I called again and they seemed to have no knowledge of anything. This company is terrible. When you call, the first thing you hear is how busy the lines are and to go online. What does that tell you??? Their products obviously have tooooo many problems. Don't buy these products!!!!"

moultrie 6.0 very poor camera,October 27, 2009
By dinkk
"i made the mistake and bought 5 of these cameras i have had nothing but problems with them three of the five burn batterys in a week or less, all of them take mosty all black and white pics even in the day time you can't get your fingers in the slot to remove the sd card, the tabs on the camera for the strap to tie to a tree broke on all five cameras with very little tension. i have contacted moultrie a few times they they say the black and white pics or normal becouse there isn"t enough sun in the woods but i now have bought a different ir camera put it along side of the moultrie it takes perfect color pics. and as for as the rest of the problems moultrie says they are out of warranty a would cost to much to repair. don't make the same mistake i did and buy on of these"

JUNK!!!!,September 16, 2009
By GroundCheckfrom TEXAS
"All I can say is the older ones must be better . I have friends with older ones and they take good pic's when you catch the animal in it. I could not even get the 2 I bought to take a pic at night without getting 5 feet from it and the pics were horrible. The video was horrible,at first light it looked like x-ray pics, the slowest camera next to stealth I have ever seen.I would give it 0 stars if I could.Buy the new little Bushnell it is AWESOME.I will never buy another moultrie,at least they took them back."

MOULTRIE GAME SPY I60,September 14, 2009
By drenalinldfrom Fordyce, Arkansas
"Makes great pictures. Has a nice time stamp and for most part workes very good. The bad side is getting any one to help you at Moultrie. Of my two cameras, one has been some what of a lemon. But again getting in contact with Moultrie can be a time eater. Also not to good about answering the web either."

Super camera for deer feeder,September 9, 2009
By TWaltonfrom Groveton, TX
"I had always wanted a camera so that I could find what was coming to my corn and protein deer feeders at night and when I was not on my stand. I did my research and decided for the money this was a camera that I was willing to try. I especially wanted one that I could download easily to my laptop in the field. This camera has far exceeded my expectations. It is super crisp photos, lots of detail and the night photos with the infrared is just excellent. The thing I like the best about this camera is that it comes with all the preset defaults ready to go out and make pictures from the start, very intuitive. You will not go wrong with this camera."

Awesome Camera,August 26, 2009
By lplankfrom Lago Vista, Texas
"I can't say enough good things about this camera. I bought one last summer and immediately started using it. I have some of the best pictures that I have seen from game cameras. The camera has sold it self to the other hunters on our lease. I went from the summer all the way through deer season on one set of batteries. When I put fresh batteries in I still showed 30% life. We had some major storms out at the lease with winds over 80mph. No Damage and no water intrusion. I just noticed that Moultrie has come out with a newer model and this model's price is falling. So I just bought 2 more of the same camera as last year. This camera has done it all. The IR flash does not scare the animals. I even got a picture of a cougar. It has caught pictures of many birds in flight. It is so easy to operate. My friend gave me a camera of a different manufacturer and that rascal was aggrevating to operate. I gave it back to him. They sell a security box that fits this camera very tight and with a little enginuity, flatten one end of a T-post out, drill a couple holes and you can mount the security box to it. This makes it easy to move from one location to another or you can cement the other end of the T-post in the ground. The video works flawlessly.
The only negative item, as mentioned in other reviews. If you have big fingers, the SD Memory Card is hard to reach for removall. A pair of small needle nose pliers overcomes this small objective."

Moultrie I-60 review,August 17, 2009
By Behemothfrom Macon County, Ga
"Bought this camera because it had a high customer review rating. What a piece of junk. But I'll admit it could have just been a lemon. First, battery life was no where near what they advertise. They say 150 day battery life. The longest we got out of the batteries was almost 3 weeks one time. Usually it was about 2 weeks. Second, it kept having either completely dark photos or one that wouldn't open in the computer mixed in with the regular photos. Third, night photos were not very good, kinda grainy. The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because it took great daytime photos. And it was easy to set up. The clip on the tree strap broke as well. The last time we had it out about a week and when we came to check it the batteries were almost dead (they had only been in a week) and it only had 44 pictures on it. We usually get between 300 and 600 in a week. So I took it down and sent it back to Cabela's and traded it for a different brand. I will give Cabela's 5 stars on their service though."

Great pics, poor reliability,August 3, 2009
By 00Moonshinefrom Texas
"I've had this camera for 18 months now, and I'm afraid I can't recommend it. It takes GREAT pictures, but I've just sent ib back to Moultrie for the second time for the same issue. The main display has gone out for the second time in 8 months, and you can't operate the camera with the display out."

moultrie 6.0,July 26, 2009
By wolffmanfrom Baltimore MD
"This was my first trail camera and i was not dissapointed. The battery life so far is as advertized. The only recomendation i have is that one should consider that if the camera is posted in woods with a heavy canopy most of the picture may be in black and white. Unless the pictures are taken during the middle of the day. The resolution on both black and white and color was great. I would even like to buy a second one if they are ran on sale again. Great camera!"

Moultrie Game Spy,July 14, 2009
By Rogerramjetfrom New London, WI
"Finally a camera that does as advertised. This was my fourth purchase of a game camera. My original camera used 35mm film which had to be developed before viewing the pictures. While that camera did a good job and captured a lot of great photos, there were always undesirable photos that came with them that I had to pay for processing as well. The next two cameras were digital and I have yet to get any great pictures on them although they used quite a few dollars worth of batteries so far. The Moultrie Game Spy is the best camera I've ever seen. I've used it three times now and already have some great pictures which include a mother bear and two cubs. I don't recommend putting the camera directly on a bait as you might end up with hundreds of pictures in just a few days as the camera will capture every living thing in sight. Also, be sure to clear out the immediate vicinity of the camera placement of any vegetation that could activate the camera on a windy day. I love the feature where you can view photos in the field. The battery life is amazingly long compared to the digital cameras I have experience. It is easy to operate and picture quality is great."

"Went to Colorado for my daughters graduation present. To see the Rockies and game that are in their parks. Got the trap camera to hopefully get some special pictures. Opened it up, put in memory chip(extra cost), Batteries(extra cost), turned it on. laser sighting worked, went to program how I wanted it to take video/pictures. The instruction screen was black! I could hear it changing selections but had NO clue what it was set on. Needless to say it was a waste. Thanks for the pictures of a lifetime! Oh! By the way to anyone wanys to buy one, Good Luck!!!"

Having a ball with this camera!,May 3, 2009
By NLJ1from Rural Florida
"Camera does everything they claim it should and very well! Original batteries are still going and we put it out over 4 months ago. It has been turned "on" most every day. Range great and doesn't seem to spook the game. HELPFUL HINT.... Some reviews suggested the straps slip. I simply hammered a nail in half way on both sides of the post to keep it from slipping down. Some said the SD card was difficult to get out and snap in. The opening isn't quite wide enough for a man's finger tip to get a hold of it. I simply carry around a set of tweesers. Push in the card gently with the blunt end and get it out gently with the tweesers.
Wouldn't hesitate to purchase another."

Too High Priced Piece of Junk,February 17, 2009
By ChopsINC
"JUNK! Don't waste your time or money on this trail camera. There are way too many negatives concerning this camera to list but I will list a couple. The slot where the SD card goes is ridiculous, you need to carry tweezers with you in order to retrieve the card from the camera. The straps that come with the camera will snap and break. The picture quality is horrible. I left the camera in the woods for about 3 weeks and had 400 pictures on it, out of 400 pictures I think it might have taken 3 colored (daylight) photos, the rest were black and white and it wasn't because of darkness or shade. The view finder is also wothless, it's about the same size as a quarter. The ONLY good feature about it is the battery life. Don't waste your time or money on this junk."

Review 16 for Moultrie Game Spy 6.0 Megapixel IR Flash with Built-In Viewer
"I used this camera for four months with mixed results.
Pros: Took over 1,100 photos. Very good quality photos. Good speed (not excellent).
Cons: Poor quality battery cover/difficult to fully close without bulging. SD card is hard to access (need knife or pen to push/release). Have to remove side cover to access SD card. Both top cover and side cover are difficult to close completely, with no cracks left. Poor quality strap.
The result: After initially being very happy with the camera and likely a much batter rating, heavy rains resulted in a ruined camera. I will return the camera next week. I have not yet decided on a replacement."

game camera,January 7, 2009
By gardennutfrom northern New Mexico mountain canyon
"This is the second camera we have bought from Cabela's. It is a better product than an earlier one- more megapixels make better pictures. Was surprised that the photos taken at night are in black and white but I suppose the infared flash is responsible and doesn't frighten the game - does make it hard to find the rabbit in the snow, tho! Also like the information it records on each photo - date, time of day, temperature and barometric pressure. 4GB card takes at least 240 photos. Works in temperatures at least as low as 18 degrees."

Poor operations!,January 2, 2009
By Huntercrazyfrom Sturgeon Bay, Wi
"This is my first and last moultrie camera I will ever buy. I sat and read alot of reviews on all the cameras avaible and deciede to go with this what a mistake. I had it out in the woods and was brought back in becasue it said that the memory was full. After bringing it in I was unable to review my pictures because it said NOTE: IF SD CARD IS INSTALLED... and then it would say INTERNAL MEMORY MUST BE EARSED. All it would keep doing is going between these two messages and wouldn't let me do any thing! Called moultrie direct and said probably something to do with one circuit boards and I would have to send it in for repairs. I was so disgusted with the whole thing that I threw it in the closet to deal with it at a later time. Would not tell anyone to waste their money on one of these."
