Field Dressing Glove Kit,
January 6, 2009
By RickN

"Great field dressing glove kit. The kit includes two pairs of gloves and a cleaning cloth. The kit enables you to field dress a deer without getting blood and/or body cavity fluids on you or your hunting coat. Great product at a fair price."

Panic time....,
December 16, 2008
By Actinaria
from Groton, CT
|
"I used my last set of these this morning on a doe. When I realized I was out I almost panicked.
These are great. They keep the majority of the blood off your hands (they do rip a little sometimes) and all of it off your clothes. What gets on your hands can be washed off with the towelette provided. Since I don't eat the heart/liver I use the bag as a trash bag.
Really nice to be able to stop somewhere on the way home without being covered in blood past my wrist."

They tear easily,
December 6, 2008
By RickMtnMan
from Arlington, VA
|
"I've used the shoulder length gloves four times, and each time I found blood inside the glove. The material is too thin and tears easily. Be particularly careful around ANY rough edges such as the sternum - that will cut right through. The white latex gloves are pretty much useless - they tear just puting them on."

Good stuff,
August 18, 2008
By BHert

"I expect to get a little dirty and get a little blood on me when cleaning a deer but these gloves curb most of that for the field cleaning. Particularly helpful for getting that one last cut when reaching all the way up to the top of the cavity."

Great Idea,
November 26, 2007
By BiggestGameHunter

"This little packet was just great! I dressed 3 deer (3 different kits) in 2 days and the only evidence of it was a small amount of blood on my boots. It is so nice to be able to get in and get messy to get the job done right....then just have someone pull the shoulder gloves off and toss them away. Keep up the good work!!"

FIELD DRESSING GLOVE KIT,
November 14, 2007
By lauriespoorfarm
from FRANKLIN,VT
|
"THIS YEAR I FINALLY GOT A VT.,MOOSE PERMIT.I WAS TOLD THAT THERE IS MORE INVOLVED IN FIELD DRESSING A MOOSE THAN A DEER. SO I WENT TO MY COMPUTER AND WENT TO CABELA'S AND FOUND THE KIT. WE WERE LUCKY AND GOT A MOOSE, SO I TOOK OUT THE PACK AND USED THE GLOVES THAT GO ALL THE WAY UP TO YOUR SHOULDERS, THE SMALL GLOVES WORKED WELL ALSO .THEN WE FILLED THE BAGIES WITH THE HEART AND LIVER. THE FINISHING TOUCH WAS THE HAND WIPES IN THE PACK. THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I USED SUCH A KIT, USELY I JUST GET SOME RUBBER GLOVES FROM WORK. BUT FROM NOW ON ITS THE FIELD DRESSING KIT FOR ME. P.S IF ANY ONE TELLS YOU THEY HAD A HARD TIME FIELD DRESSING A DEER, TELL THEM TRY A MOOSE."

Wives and Field-Dressing Deer,
October 22, 2007
By Yaeger8
from Steilacoom, Washington
|
"I believe a sub-title to the above should be..."How to Keep your Wife Interested in Sharing the Full Big Game Hunting Experience!" My wife chose to go with me deer hunting this year and agreed to participate in the full process of bringing home the harvested game animal. Prior to going hunting, we talked about the responsibility of field-dressing a harvested deer and the way to do it. She balked at the idea of having to put her arm way up the chest cavity to get the diaphragm and throat out, due to the messiness of the blood present. The Hunter's Specialties Field Dressing Gloves, solved her hesitancy and she donned them and got the job done admirably. Her sleeves and clothes were clean and none the worse for wear (and field-dressing)!!"

Why get messy?,
June 16, 2007
By jyaccino
from Orange County, CA
|
"I don't know about you, but I have always hated getting bloodied up in the field when I'm far from a proper shower. These gloves kept me clean and blood free while allowing me to feel everything. I could not have been happier.
A buddy was making fun of me the whole trip upon seeing my gloves in my pack. After watching me clean my deer and stay clean, he offered to buy my spare set. I made top dollar!"
