"these broad heads are amazing very sharp and inexpensive. i shot a doe at 10 yards with a complete pass through with no problems im shooting a dimaond rapture 70# draw with cabela stalker extreme carbon arrows and quick fletch twister vanes and there is no vibration at all very smooth. i gave it a 4 because i couldnt find anyt blood but it was my shot and not the broad head and because some of the blades dont get completly tight and make alittle noise but beside that great broad head and plane on getting more"

"you cannot beat these broad heads for the money. they are very straight and very sharp. I was stacking these bad boys clear out to 60 yards. I am shooting a mathews reezen at 64 lbs. 28.5" draw with easton full metal jacket 400"s. I shot a nice 4 point muley, quartering away at 21 yards. in behind the last rib and a clean pass through the brisket with a blood trail that looked like it came out of a garden hose. AWSOME!"

Cutting Angle Too High,
September 1, 2009
By Anonymous
from Kirkland, WA
|
"I bought a package of these but will return them. These broadheads are very short with a high blade cutting angle. I'm pretty sure this will result in poor penetration. I was fooled by the photo. I wouldn't have ordered them if I had known that."

Gettin hooked,

"this broad head is awesome!!!! razor sharp right out of the box, grouping was so tight i was shaving the blazers off my arrows. shot my first ever bowkill with this head taking down a nice eight pointer with a clean pass through. you know you have a good broadhead when you can get straight through a 230lb buck with only a 45lb draw. also these broadheads are super durable, shot one clean through a steel barrel with my bow at 65lb draw and is still in one piece and sharp."

"I took my very first archery buck this opening weekend in utah it was a nice 26 inch 3x3. I shot while he was moving at 50 yards and hit im right in the hip. Not only did this broadhead give me a full pass through it left a bloodtrail a blind man could follow! only downfall was that one blade broke but i guess thats what happens with you shoot through somethings hip ha. 5 stars and im buying new ones now :)"

"These heads shoot very close to my field tips up to about 40 yds.
Low profile makes the accurate in light wind and they come w/ absolute razors from the package. I've shot one set twenty-five times and they still haven't twisted helical yet (try that w/ your broad heads).
They look like really good penetrator, but that still remains to be seen"

Copperhead 100,
February 4, 2009
By Drews

"These broadheads shoot the best out of my bow. I have Mattews DXT 70# 27" draw. I am a faithful steelforce user, have used them for years with great success. They just don't shoot well out of my new bow. I prefer a cut on contact head. The copperheads shot better than the other 6 top name broadheads I tried. They fly good and are very sharp."

Excellent on Pigs,

By TexasPigs

"Used these broadheads this weekend on a pig hunt with excellent results. I shot 3 pigs (one was a 180lb boar) all 3 were clean pass throughs with the longest tracking job about 50 yards. I was very pleased with the performance. I did break one blade, but the arrow was stuck in the ground on the other side of the pig. Thanks Cabelas for another great product."

Superb Product,
November 13, 2008
By LoneStarDennis

"Sharp blades and a good cutting diameter are a must, but I also have to have a broadhead that requires no tuning in order to shoot straight. I've tried over a dozen broadheads in the past few years, and I have discovered that the Cabela's Copperhead is not only extemely accurate, but consistent in producing pass-throughs on deer and feral hogs (even with my lower draw weight of 56lbs). I've got one Copperhead that has killed several large hogs, and all I do is take a few swipes on a sharpener, and it's ready for another critter. There are a couple more broadheads that work for me, but for the price---there is no comparison."

Shoots well and cuts deep!,
November 7, 2008
By David97B
from Jefferson City, MO

"I ordered these broadheads to replace my old Muzzy 100gr heads. I liked the looks of these and the way the blades were easy to replace. I shot them 2 days before bow season, and found that they didn't noticably change my point of aim from the field points that I'd been using on carbon arrows. Two days into the season, I was able to take a nice size doe, and the broadhead cut a nice, deep channel to quickly put her down."

Best Broadhead ever!,
October 2, 2008
By MillIronD
|
"Copperheads are the best broadhead I have ever used in 26 years of bowhunting. I have had complete pass throughs on 3 deer and an antelope! (On 2 deer and the antelope the broadhead exited through the opposite shoulder blade) The Copperheads leave a large exit hole inspite of their small appearance, they are also the sharpest broadheads that I have ever seen. Product quality is very good, the broadhead is VERY Strong. The best thing is that they fly wonderful and shoot through the netting of my blind with no effect to arrow flight at all. I plan to use them on deer, antelope and elk from here on. The only draw back is Cabela's does not carry the replacement blades in their retail stores!????"

good clean kill, so so shot,

By ohiolazyboy

"These broadheads are well designed good looking product and true performers. The shot was 25-yards clean-thru. The whitetail went less than 10-yards after a less than perfect high lung placement.
What more do I need to say besides accurate and wickedly sharp?"

Copperhead,

"The fist shot I got this season the Cabela's Copperhead broadhead did the job. A full pass through the vitals and bone while exiting through the shoulder then sticking 12 inches in the ground. Still they are as sharp as new and ready for the next chance at a trophy."

"shot at a nice 8 pt last evening--caught the shoulder--bent one blade and only penetrated 4 inches--extremely poor performance---any decent broadhead will break shoulder and penetrate, this did neither--do not take the chance on losing a trophy--i will not use these again--frustrated in pennsylvania"

Broadheads that are described as having bone-splitting strength and similar attributes, are designed to break bones in the vital area such as ribs.
