"For the guy/gal that wants to save a few bucks and put more of yourself into your archery, this is a start. It's easy and fun to make your own loops . I find that 7 1/2 " is the optimum length to cut the pieces. Burn each end after cutting and douse in water when the melted string forms a ball."

"The loop material works great. The only reason i didn't give it 5 stars was because its just loop material. I will give loop material 5 stars when it ties itself on the string. I would recommend this to any hunter looking to put his/her own D-loops on."

"I Like this D loop...feel more secure with it..and stay much longer than the other D loop..I just add a nock point on the bottom point to make sure it's not moving. Thank you CABELAS :)"

"This a very tough d-loop material but it is too large diameter. As such it will not tighten down on the string. It would be OK for material to attach a fall away rest to the bow, but as d-loop material it is not what you want."

"I like the string. I shoot at 3d shoots 3or4 times a mouth and the string holds up to it. I got it to tie just fine. I shoot at home and thats about 100 arrows a week. so thats why i like the string. I dont have to put now on all the time. So if you shoot like that give it a try."

"The Loop material is to big for a good D Loop. Don't waste your money buying this. It won't form a really good and secure knot on the string since the material is to big. You can use it for drop away rests but again, it's on the big size."

"I will say this is one of the toughest string loop materials out there, however this loop material is 2.5mm where most manufacturers use 2.00 or 2.1mm. This thickness causes the material to be very stiff for this purpose, where the knots need to be pretty tight.
No matter how hard a try, I just can't get this material to form a tight enough knot on a well wrapped modern string. This creates the possibility that the knots could come undone with serious consequences when drawing the bow back.
My advice is to look for a slightly thinner material which will tie onto your string better and more securly, providing a balance of durability and safety."
