Poor Quality for such a Price,

"I bought this along with the EZ eye. One worked great the other did not. As you can guess the bow plane failed and because of poor craftmanship. Its seems to be a great concept. It seems to be easy too use too. How ever while using it I noticed that the laser was off by 1/32 of an inch looking at my upper and lower cams. So I rotated the laser arrow shaft 180 degrees and it was off 1/32 in the other direcdtion. So I decided to use the EZ eye. Then I measure with the BowPlane again of the EZ eye marked measurements and the bow plane was still off center both times even after rotating the arrow shaft laser 180 degrees. I guess the laser inside the arrow shaft was just a mininaly off cnter in the shaft causing this issue. Maybe it was just a lemon, but even if it work right I still wouldnt recommend this product. The EZ eye for the price."

"Good Product, would definitely recommend to any of you tinkerers out there like me. If you want to tune your own bow, and want to have the confidence its done right, get the bowplane laser tuner & the R.S. String Level Combo. Follow the directions & you can't get it wrong. Paper tune, and you should be ready to go. Gave 4 stars due to the price being a bit too high. Also be advised that if you have a string suppressor on your bow, you may have to take it off for the laser to shine on your bottom limb. A large kisser may also have to be removed."

"I purchased a new bow at the Eastern Outdoor show last year. Shooting the 28" ATA bow has been inconsistent at best. Porpoising arrows etc. I have tried all the traditional tuning tricks and still not satisfied.
Until I decided to try the Bowplane Laser. 10 minutes after unpackaging this innovative tool I was shooting darts at 25 yards. Ridiculously easy to set centershot. What a difference."

"The BowPlane Laser Turner was just what I expected. I intend to use it to recheck the setup of my equipment during hunting trips. It’s compact and simple to use in the field, at camp, or in the shop. I received the BowPlane Laser Tuner II, the difference is in the attachment point at the string. The original used a “nock” style attachment, the new model uses a “T” square type or bow square attachment. This method may not work with all setups. On my bows the “kisser button” is in the way and will not allow the use of the BowPlane with out removing the button. I am going to contact the company to see if I can purchase the original “nock type” adapter or I will have to improvise and make my own. Outside of that minor issue the device provides the 360 degree laser to check the cam, arrow rest, sight pin, and other alignments all at one time. It is great for the initial setup and then to recheck everything after that."

"I have a old pse I set up for my son but with the new sights and rest it just wasn't right. So I took it to a pro shop and for $45 I was still not happy with it. then I ordered the Bowplane and R.S. String Level Combo. I started out with the string and arrow level I could see that it was way off so I set up the arrow and nock once that was done I put on the bowplane set the windage and sight pins. Shot 12 arrows at 20 yards and stacked all 12 in a 1 1/2" circle the old PSE was NUTS ON!! the best it has ever been. No more pro shop for me."

Great item for easy tuning,

"This item is great for quickly tune a bow for perfect centershot.
I two Oneida bows, one Extreme Eagly and a Black Eagle II.
I use red dot sights, so adjusting the sight isn't working for me. But I had a hard time to set the bow for perfect center shot and to see if everything is okay before I bougth the BowPlane Laser Tuner. Now my bows are set perfect and my grouping is much better than ever befor. Great help!

Makes tuning a breeze,

"When using the BowPlane Laser Tuner along with the RS Level tuning a bow is surprisingly easy. I had problems tuning my bow so I bought these items and it literally took me 10 minutes following the directions. Once completed I shot through paper to see what the outcome was and I was shooting bullet holes through paper.
Having a bow vise does make it easier but it can be done without one if necessary. I will always use this to set up and tune any bows. Great product!!"

"I thought this product works very well to make sure that everything is inline and that the cams are not leaning. You still have to eyeball the string with the rest but maybe cause that is because I am just not aware of how to do it. Good product easy to use overall"

"After getting little or no help from the local archery shops I decided to spend the money and buy the BowPlane. This is one product that delivers as advertised and is very easy to use. It took me under 10 minutes to find the center shot and line up my sight pins. I moved my rest over a 1/4 of an inch from where it was set up by my local shop and now the arrows fly much better. It is worth the money just to give you the confidence that you know your center shot is right on. You won't be able to get this kind of alignment with the naked eye or any of the other devices that I have used, and this is much easier. An awesome product!"
