Quik Spin Vanes,September 16, 2009
By LRiderfrom Wenatchee, Wa.
"These vanes do not work with a whisker bisquit. They are very expensive and after installing them my arrow flight became so erratic that hitting a target at 30 yds was difficult. I switched to blazer vanes and am accurate to 60 now. In my opinion they are not worth the money."

shooter,August 14, 2009
By MadElkHunterfrom Veneta, Oregon
"I had my doubts about how they would make my arrows fly. And to my amazements they do work very good and shoot much flatter, I had to stop shooting at 20 yards due to the fact of how well they work. I shot with my old vanes at 40 yards and then with the Quick Spin ST and it shot flatter and 2 inches higher. Good product"

Pretty good vanes.,July 19, 2009

"I like these vanes better then the other, blaser or whatever. I are sturdy, and can withstand a good beating. They will not rip, they will just come off the arrow."

2" are great,March 10, 2009
By plindyfrom Crandon,WI
"Someone asked how the 2" vanes worked, they are excellant. I have used every fletching & feathers out there in all sizes over the years and all are good, but the 2" quick spins are excellant. I shot them in both 3 fletch and right now am using a 4 fletch setup that I really like. So far they have held up well only having to refletch when I shoot a hole or rip one from the tight groups. The 3 fletch so far appear to be as good as the 4 fletch but I have alot of shooting to do yet to make up my mind. The 4 fletch has been very stable and consistant, both remind me of a high speed projectile that holds its line very well. In the indoor league with the large flat head points, the 4 fletch set up is better but it may be in my head only. I haven't had a flyer yet. I don't think you can go wrong with these in any size or fletch orientation. Great product."

Quick spins or soft spins?,October 5, 2008
By BowtechBoyfrom texas
"I was very excited to shoot these vanes. I immediately noticed slightly tighter groups. However, just from normal handling, the vanes began to wrinkle and distort after a few weeks. This distortion led to several "flyers" in my grouping. Good idea, but just too soft to be a dependable vane over the long haul..."

Quickspin vanes,October 2, 2008
By joeSr75from Hummelstown, Pa
"I was not overly impressed. I found that the vanes do a great job of quickly stabalizing the arrow (especialy 15 yards and under). The arrows enter the target straighter which proves they do "get flat" faster. However, as far as the improved grouping at 30 yards and further, I did not see that. I shoot out to 50 yards and I am no expert but I did not see any difference in better groups than regular vanes or fletchings even. Keeping in mind that a LOT of things change arrow flight I am not sure these are worth the extra money. I shoot them in rounds of 3 with 3 fletched and 3 standard vanes all in one set from the same yardage. All 9 were the same with no real change in grouping size."

QuikSpin STs are a nice improvement,October 1, 2008
By JeffC999from Meridian, Idaho
"I used the new ST version of the QuikSpin vanes this year and was very pleased with the result. I've used the old style QuikSpins for a couple of years (I bought the Cabela's Stalker Extreme shafts with QS vanes installed) and I like how they shoot. My only complaints about the old style vanes were that they'd develop ripples in them from shooting them through my Whisker Biscuit rest (yes, they straighten back out if you hit them with a hair dryer, but it's a hassle), and the little black 'kickers' at the tips of the old-style vanes can come off. With the ST version, the kicker is molded into the vane in one piece, and the vane material is a bit stiffer than that used in the older design. Both of these are good improvements, IMO. The new vanes don't seem to ripple at all. The arrows with the ST vanes group right with the old-style QS-vaned arrows. And this year, I killed my first elk with a bow!"

QUICKSPIN ST VANES,September 29, 2008
By MAP3006from LIMERICK, PA
"I HAVE BEEN USING QUICKSPINS SINCE THEY CAME OUT ON THE MARKET. I HAVE HAD GOOD RESULTS WITH ARROW FLIGHT WITH FIELD POINTS AND BROADHEADS. JUST STARTED USING THE NEW ST VANES AND WITH MY BROADHEADS THEY ARE NOT FLYING AS GOOD AS WITH THE OLD QUICKSPINS. I,M USING THE SAME ARROW,SAME BROADHEAD. I FEEL THE LOWER PROFILE AND LESS GR. ARE MAKING A DIFFERANCE. JUST A FEELING."

Loud,September 29, 2008
By Anonymousfrom North Idaho
"I found these vanes to be a little louder than I would have liked. They didn't have any affect on accuracy just loud flight. When shot through the chrony I lost on ave. 3-fps not enough to worry about. Over all a good vane if your not worried about string jumping whitetail."

Quick-spin ST Vanes,September 22, 2008
By NMBowhunterfrom New Mexico Bowhunter
"The most important aspect of a vane for a bowhunter is to improve the arrow flight/accuracy of a broadhead-tipped arrow. It's hard to imagine a better vane for this purpose than Quik-spin vanes. The down side has always been they get mauled by gong too deep into targets, but a good heat gun fixes them up good as new. And they may be a grain or two heavier, but the trade-off is well worth it. Finally, DO NOT prep the arrow shaft with acetone. Basically read and follow the directions and adhesion will not be an issue. These new ST's are noticeably more durable, with some deep target hits not even bending the vanes at all! I have to imagine the arrow rotation, and thus stabilization, is better too, but I have no proof of this. I shoot the 3 1/4 inch vanes to save weight off the 4 inch models and love them. Never tried the 2-inch speed hunters, but I would like to hear some first hand results, they look good. All told, I shoot quik-spin ST vanes on all my hunting and 3-D arrows. Period. Love to hear why more arrow rpm's is bad at reasonable distances."

NAP QuikSpin Vanes,September 3, 2008
By jhornamanfrom Pennsylvania
"This product is great! Dramatically decreases your groups as well as boosting your confidence. The only thing that I noticed was you have to let the glue set a little longer, maybe 7 or 8 minutes, and they will stay on without a problem. I also didn't notice a whistling problem that others have. Definitely worth the price."

lives up to the add,August 26, 2008
By CRHuntressfrom denver, co
"these vanes out perform feathers and all other types of vanes I have tried. They did tighten up my groups quite well and stabalized the arrows quickly. I would definately recommend them. As for my groups they went from 14" groups down to 4" at 30 yards and I have shot consistent groups of 9" at 50 yards. Thats using a 46# Bowtec Equalizer set at 26" draw using 345 grain carbon arrows. Out of my 55# Bear Kodiac Magnum recurve they have tightened up my groups of heavy (476 grain)aluminum arrows in a similar fashion. If the archer is worried about wind drift these vanes will ease the worry considerably. It is windy all the time where I shoot and it dosen't seem to affect my shots at all or very little( at 30 yds) even in a 20 mph cross wind!! Main problem is that you must use a expensive cr glue as regular fletch tite dosen't seem to get a good hold on them and they are prone to pop off."

NOT THAT GOOD,July 15, 2008
By AUSGUYfrom MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA
"Im a deer stalker and was looking for a new arrow setup with full metal jacket shafts and a 125g thunderhead, i needed a vane that would keep the thunderhead from choosing a different path and these vanes were not it. Insted i went back to 5inc vanes and it shot like a dream, but i have 2 say they do spin quick maybe if the make them in a 5inc vane i would buy them as i feel the more vane the quicker it fly's stright."
