Excellent Rest,November 10, 2009

"I have one of these on my Bowtech Commander that I use for outdoor archery league. It has worked flawlessly, and is easy to adjust for vertical and horizontal tuning. I've never had the arrow "pop off" the rest during draw."

Not what I expected,June 17, 2009

"When I bought this product I was super stoked about LimbSAver products and owned everything that would make my old bow(a Mathews FX) quieter. I replaced my whisker biscuit after 8 years with this rest. The first thing I noticed was how well made this rest is. Absolutely super quality. However the string that pulls the rest up kept stretching and I was constantly readjusting it. Since it was my first fall away I wasn't too sure that wasn't just standard operating procedure. If it is, oh well, if not DON"T BUY ONE OF THESE! I could not get this thing to fall away fast enough so MY arrows were forever hitting the rest and actually leaving marks on the rest telling me of no fletching clearance. Also, I don't use a D-loop so every single time I would draw my bow it would pull it off the rest! I tried every conceivable way to improve my draw, to no avail. Then to add insult to injury, the plastic replacable arrow slide finally decided to disintegrate after my arrow shafts kept hitting it. So, I Wrote an email to Sims and they promply,(to their credit) sent me three new ones at no charge to me. Thank you SIMS, awesome company!!!! Great company, not so great a rest!!!! I now own a new DXT and I have relaced my SIMS with a RIPCORD. Now THAT's an awesome rest!!! Buy a ripcord, set it up right, and just go hunting!"

So far so good,August 5, 2007

"With 25 years of Rifle hunting, my buddies talked me into bowhunting. I purchased my first bow last November, set up with a Whisker Biscuit rest. After hundreds of practice arrows, my fletching looked like the dog had been chewing on it. I switched to vanes, and within 20 shots the vanes were ripping off. I decdied to switch to a fall away rest, and after about 100 arrows through this rest today, setting it up and tuning it etc, I am VERY happy I switched. I only had two arrows fall off the rest on the draw, and the vanes on my arrows look as good as they did when I walked out of the store with them this morning. I am a novice at this sport, so take my comments with a grain of salt, but I am 1000 times more confident with this rest and the groups I am getting than I was with the Whisker Biscuit rest. Being in Minnesota, I've heard that the Biscuit can really cause havoc in the cold weather, and based on the damage it caused my arrows this spring and summer, I can only imagine what frozen brushes would have done. I am not knocking the Biscuit here, it could have very easily been my shooting mechanics that gave me bad results, but this rest has me pumped up for the first time since I picked up this bow and I am very pleased with it so far. Too early to tell, I've only had it a few hours, but I'm loving it so far."

"Friends got one on a Boqtec, I shot loved it. Quiet, no fletching interfence ect... Went and bought one, brought home, installed it. Then realiaze you can't adjust the windage screw because I own a Hoyt with that riser bar in the back! So as long as you don't have a hoyt. or you wann make a tool for it, it's great!"
