"I purchased the jump seat for my 2009 Ranger. I did not realize the jump seat would be in so many pieces. I just did not see how it could be sturdy with all of the pins and bolts you had to use to put it together. As always cabela's return process was great and that is why I try to purchase everything with them."

"Overall the seat is very functional. One flaw--spring clip pins were provided to hold the arm rests on each side...they pop out very easily. We bolted the arms to fix the problem."

"you need a pretty good drill bit & drill to drill the holes in the
UTv, especially a Kawasaki Mule. The actual seat cushion is too narrow and not thick enough to comfortably "cushion" the ride. All in all, it needs to be beefed up a bit."

"I purchased the seat for my granddaughters and it works great. I think it is a little light duty for adults but I didn't buy it for that. Easy to install in my Kubota RTV and folds up nicely."

"The seat works as advertised. Folds up and does not rattle. I did have to buy longer bolts so I could leave the rubber mat in the bed of my Rhino."

"The seat is a good value and a useful item. Installation was relatively simple and straight forward. The only problem is with the armrest spring clips. They tend to come out when the seat is in use while the vehicle is in motion. I modified the pins by drilling a hole and installing a cotter pin so the spring clip cannot come loose. Other than this design fault, the seat is a great addition to my Kawasaki Mule 610."

"The jump seat installed easily in my Mule 4010 Trans. It is easy to fold up or remove completely. The construction isn't as solid as it could have been, but it will suffice for children or small adults. Good value for the money."

"I got the seat to ride grandkids around in a John Deer traditional series Gator. This week it seated 3 women across comfortably up and down hills and bumpy dirt roads, folded up to make room for a bale of alfalfa and later hauling groceries up the hill.
The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is it didn't come with the right hadware and I had to scrounge to find long enough bolts without going to the hardware store.
It sits solidly and appears to be a very safe method of travel. I already hosed them off once to clean them and they cleaned up and dried quite nicely."

"We installed the UTV jump seat in a 2008 Polaris Ranger. Assembly & Installation was completed in about an hour and a half. The jump seat has been used with adults riding on it with no problems. The seat and riders were completly secure. This addition to our UTV has doubled to fun of trrail riding in the woods by allowing or family and friends to come along too."

"This seat isn't too bad, but you will have to break out the drill bits to put it together because the holes are not alligned properly, and a few are drilled to small. I ended up just welding my all togther to make it stronger, and didn't use the pin and release function it came with."

Does Not Fit A 2009 Rhino,

"The seat does not fit a 2009 Yamaha Rhino. The wheel wells are a different design on the new Rhinos which makes the seat base too wide to fit in the box. The plastic seatbelt buckles are also very cheaply made. I returned the seat and am awaiting a refund."
