"I now have two of these rack extensions. The added room you acquire with the extension for a back pad is great. Hauling items around is a snap and easy to tie bulky items to. This product is handy from hauling around game quarters to a dog kennel. Thanks for a quality rack."

"An excellent alternative to bulk, length-increasing drop baskets that will hinder your ability to tow traditional trailers.
My only suggestion is for the mounting kit to include another couple brackets and some extra bolts."

"Excellent unit. I have only one complaint. The base rails should be widened to fit better outside of your storage boxes. I had to use a HiLift jack to make mine fit alongside your ATV box 52-3476. Just one inch wider at the front would be great."

"This is better than two others that I tried ! Definitely attach with zip ties though and use weather strip underneath. Easily carries two 50lb. salt blocks across rough terrain and no worse the wear."

"I added these to my 05 brute force on both front and rear. They help hold alot of stuff and keeps things from sliding off. I think they could of used a better way of clamping down though, my rear rack has a tendency to slide around just a bit from time to time."

"THIS IS A VERY WELL MADE RACK. I INSTALLED IT ON MY
2004 POLARIS SPORTSMAN 500 HO. IT REQUIRED A LITTLE THOUGHT BUT I WAS ABLE TO USE 4 OF THE SUPPLIED BRACKETS AND ATTACH IT WITHOUT DRILLING. JUST BE SURE TO ATTACH SOME TRUCK CAMPER TOP CUSHION TO IT BEFORE YOU TIGHTEN IT DOWN...IT'LL SAVE YOU FROM HAVING TO REDO IT TO GET RID OF THE RATTLES ON THE TRAIL. VERY VERY NICE!!"

"THE RACKS ARE HEAVY DUTY AND THE POWDER COAT FINISH IS OF A HIGH QUALITY. THE MOUNTING HARDWARE COULD BE BETTER, AND YOU PROBABLY WON'T USE IT. MOUNTED MINE WITH CABLE TIES. BE SURE TO USE SELF-ADHESIVE WEATHERSTRIPPING TO CUSHION THE SURFACES WHERE THE RACKS JOIN THE ATV RACKS, TO ELIMINATE NOISE AND SLIPPAGE."

"These rack extensions were installed on my 2007 Honda Recon 250. They transform the otherwise small, quaint and mostly useless front racks into a useful storage and anchor point. I can fit a bunch in the rack now, including my American Eskimo Dog. The racks make my quad look larger and more intimidating than it really is. They do not interfere with quad steering when properly installed. Installation is easy, easier than installing my Kolpin handguards. Everyone I have spoken to has liked these rack extensions. The one and only downside is that no amount of tightening will make the things stop rattling after installation. This is a small price to pay in my mind, so I am keeping them."

"Vertical bars in the front of the rack were not spaced evenly.Thought it was just my rack and was going to exchange it. Cabelas opened other boxes and found they were all like that. No time frame as to when this will be corrected."

Better construction,

"Several years ago I bought a rear luggage rack extention from Cabelas. I had purchased a different machine and wanted to get an extention for this one. I was pleasantly surprised by the better design and construction on this new version. The square heavier tubing adds more strength and the mounting was much better than the old version. I would like to recommend this change and endorse your improved product. The fit and mounting was perfect, I did however use heavy plastic zip-straps instead of bolting it on. I find that occationally I want to take it off and on and it makes it a lot easier. Also the zip-straps cinched down tight, make the whole thing that much more vibration free. Thanks for making a good product even better!"

"Very well made and good finish. It was not as wide as my '06 Honda rear rack. Front rack was a good fit. I just wish it came in sizes for each brand of ATV."
