"The bottom line is that our yellow lab likes this bed. The size is perfect to put just about anywhere. The fabric outside is durable yet easy to machine wash. Throw it where you want the dog to lay and they'll lay there, most of the time."

"We have a smaller female yellow lab and she just loves this bed. She has slept on it every night since it arrived and sneaks off to nap on it when she can. The construction is substantial and the padding seems to be just about right. The 40" size is just right for a 50-60 lb dog. We compared cheaper pet store beds as well as higher priced versions from other outfitters and this seems to be a very good balance between price and quality. When it comes to dog beds it seems you pretty much get what you pay for. We also like the fact that it is made in the USA!"

"good bed, it gets a little noisy (we got the water-proof kind)..with all the crinkling..but it's durable and easy to wipe clean. i'm not sure if the dogs like it as much as a poofy soft bed, but i do because it stays much cleaner and seems like it will last a lot longer."

"I purchased this bed once and the cover was sloppy big. I thought maybe they sent the wrong one so I returned it and had another one sent to me. The cover on the second bed is way too large. It looks terrible. I am frustrated and disappointed in the quality. Has anyone else had this issue? I ordered the 40" complete dog bed with the water resistant green cover."

"I don't know nothing about dog beds. Bout the only thing I'm a expert on is Steelhead drift fishing and finding roosters. But my 12 year old worn out Lab loves that bed. She got real bad shoulders from busting the heavy cover when she was young and she's crippled up now. And she loves that new bed. Sleeps with a smile. I put the new bed on the porch and her old bed inside. The other day when I brought her in for the night she just stood by her old bed and wouldn't lay down. She just looked at me with a look that said "I ain't going to sleep on that old bed anymore." So I brought the new bed in and she flopped right down, happy. Like I said, I don't nothing about dog beds. But my old girl does and she gives that bed five stars."

"I've bought three of these beds; not because they needed replacement, but because we love them so much that each room of the house needs one. Both cloth and waterproof covers are nice, although the waterproof cover tends to be a bit slippery on the floor and against the dog. My covers have withstood many trips to the washing machine without fading or showing wear. The personalization is a cute and economical touch at only $5. Definitely a bed I'd recommend to others."
