"This bed is very good if you are going to use it outside. The cover is ruged and holds up but is very loud and doesnt let the air escape when my dog lies down. The filling leaves a little to be desired once the air does leave the bed the filling seems too thin."

"When I first got this bed for my lab it was great, he loved it. It was very plush and comfortable for him. After about two weeks of use the stuffing was smashed down to one third of what it was. Additionally, after about four weeks the stiching started coming undone. I wouldn't buy one of these again."

"I purchased two of these beds. One for a Lab and the other for a German Shorthair Pointer. The size of the bed is perfect for the larger dogs. I had read in some reviews that the beds were too puffy and dogs could not stay on them. They were somewhat "puffy" at first but in just a few days they settled down. The dogs love them. I would reccomend these to anyone."

"It was nice and cushioned when it was first taken out of the package and put in the cover that came with it. With in a very short time the bed was as flat as a dinner plate. If it wasn't for the 150 mile round trip I would have already returned it."

"Recently I ordered (3) of the Cabela's Oval Dog Beds in the 50" size for my Great Danes. My Danes are strictly "in-house" pets, and they are pampered and treated more like fellow human beings than pets or animals! They are, in my thinking, the best dogs ever, and I love them very much! They are like my kids, and they give back (100) times what they require from me. So, I want them to be comfortable in the house, and I have been trying to find beds that would give them a comfortable and durable alternative to my leather couch. At first they would not go on the beds, but gradually each of them have started to use the beds more and more. I think they have decided that they really like laying on the beds more than the couch, especially since they are able to lay directly in front of the fireplace on colder days. The beds are well made and appear to be durable. The fact that the inner bag and fiberfill can be removed simply by unzipping the outer bag is a bonus and should add to the longevity of the bags. Once removed, the inner bag can be laundered or replaced. I would reccommend these bags to anyone who asks for my opinion."

"I got the bed in a rather small box and was expecting the worst because it looks so much bigger in the catolog. It was vacum sealed. So once it hit air again the foam expanded big time. granted I have only had it about a month now but the foam is still super lofty and is keeping its shap well. the cover is durable and the embroidered name is very classy. not to mention the dog loves it. I don't have to worry about him being on the couch any more because he prefers his bed."

"Years ago, I purchased the 40" oval, one for each of my labs. They both were perfect. Recently I purchased the 50" and they are living in luxury! My dogs are in the basement a lot and through the doggie door to the outside, they needed a durable and weather resistant bed. This product works great. The fill can be replaced when needed due to water and smell. My bed has lasted for years and only had to replace the fill once. This is a durable and good product. I was worried how the dogs would take to the material, but the "fill" more than made up for the exterior shell."
