"The bed is too fluffy and the dog wont lay on it, I think he feels
like he is falling off. The fabric is stiff and noisy."

"I thought this cover could stand up to my German Shorthair but she ate a large hole in it in less than 2 weeks. The cover is not as strong as advertised."

"Sophie our beloved Rottie was starting to sleep on our new couch so we thought we would give her own bed. She took to it right away and sleeps most of the night and probably a good part of the day on it. It was money well spent and is a perfect size for a larger dog."

"This is a decent product. Does not come with a lot of fill inside the pillow. I have had mine for about a month and already had to add to it. Considering how much this bed costs I was disappointed."

"I don't normally write reviews, however this is an outstanding product. We have a 2 year old 115 pound German shepard and after a year it still looks brand new. We went thru 2 others at about the same price and he destroyed both.
It may be a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. Buy it."

"We have a 115 ld black lab and this is one of the few beds large enoungh with good thick filling. It is the same brand as a small round bed he has slept on for 3 years and the product will last- it is well constructed and high quality."

"When we recieved the dog bed in the mail it was hardly full for our dog. When our 1 1/2yr old yellow lab got on the bed she was sitting on the ground. There was little stuffing. We decided to return it to the Cabella's in Reno on our Thanksgiving vacation and instead exchanged it for the same rug with more filling. Definitely have to buy in store to get a good one."

"Just got this bed for my new pup and I am disapointed. This is the fourth time I have ordered this bed and this last one does not match the quality of the previous three. The one I ordered prior to this, a year ago, is much higher quality with thicker material for the covering. When I held the new bed cover up to the light you could see through it, this is not the case with the previous beds I ordered. Probably would not order another and definately would not recomend it to anyone. Materials got cheaper but the price didn't get cheaper."

Don't waste your money, November 18, 2008

"If you want to purchase this bed because it is waterproof then you will get a waterproof bed. That is about the only good thing it has going for it. It really is waterproof. I have had these beds for a couple of months now. I bought 4 of them them for my outside dogs for in their kennel. When I got the beds they came in sections. There is an inner bed with the stuffing in it and then the outside waterproof cover. The bed fluffed up nice and big when you first opened them. Impressive... But then a surprise. When I tested the bed by laying across it the only thing between me and the floor was the two liners. I could not believe how they flattened out. I had to put additional layers of stuffing in these beds so my dogs wouldn't be laying on the floor of the kennel. Granted I might weigh a little more than my largest lab (he is 100 pds), but his bed is now pretty flat. If it wasn't for the additional stuffing he would be on the floor. It's the same for my other labs which weigh 75 to 85 pds. And if your dog is a chewer, again, don't waste your money. One of my dogs has easily chewed a huge hole in the bed. And the zipper, well, it doesn't take much to make them not work anymore. They just split open. So far one of my labs is back to having straw for bedding. I don't know how much longer the others will last. So I pretty much wasted alot of money.

I suppose if you have an inside dog and you want a bed you can take outside occasionally and not worry about it getting wet then this bed would be ideal. It is pretty waterproof and you could hose it off. But if you plan on using it in a kennel don't bother."
