"Our golden retreiver ate through the cover on the first one. Apparently it didn't leave a good taste in her mouth as she's left this one alone. I wish there was safe bed/cover out there that can-not-be chewed. That's the reason for 4 rather than 5 stars."

"the cover on my existing dog bed was really worn and had a few holes in it. I didn't know how to get rid of it and hit on buying an inside outside dog cover. Now the dog bed looks brand new and for a fraction of the price of buying a new dog bed. i really think that was the way to go. I am happy and my dog is happy and the dog bed looks sooooo much better."

"Liked the cover material very much, however the zipper was NOT heavy enough and came apart within a week, also the stitching came loose and the whole side then came right apart. I am still using it though because the material really is sturdy."
