"I've been cleaning and maintaining my baitcasters for a few years already. This kit has almost everything you need. The degreaser works very well. And it has a citrus smell like Goo Gone. The toothbrush, swabs, drop cloth, and screwdriver are handy. The oil is fast but not drippy. I've read that it and the grease don't break down too much in a saltwater environment. The grease looks and feels like soft butter but does not drip. So far my reels work well."

"you get all you need and for a bargain
tools/cleaner/brush/oil/grease/cloth/Q tips well you get it all if you use this correctly it will do a lot of reels way more than most think reels don't need a lot of oil and grease especially on bait casting/conventional reels they only require a tiny amount per side if you use a lot of oil/grease it slows down the reels casting one would think it would do better but it really doesn't it creates friction when free spooling/casting which slows the reel down quite a bit especially in high end reels or reels that have been upgraded with ceramic bearings ceramic bearing don't need oil anyhow they are sealed they should only be cleaned lightly and placed back into the reel"

"I BOUGHT THE KIT FOR MY ARDENT REEL, WELL IT COMES WITH ALL THE GREASE AND OIL TO CLEAN ANY REEL EXCEPT MY ARDENT REEL. THE KIT ITSELF IS VERY GOOD IT COMES WITH SCREWDRIVERS AND ALLEN WRENCHES, REEL GREASE, REEL OIL, A MICROFIBER CLOTH AND EAR Q TIPS TO DO A COMPLETE JOB. "This little cleaning kit came highly recomended by other Cabelas' shoppers, and was the primary reason I purchased one, other than it had a great price. Again, the reviews proved to be accurate. I always worry when something sounds "TOO" good, but I collected all my reels and sat down and cleaned them all one Saturday afternoon. Other than replentishing the expendable cleaning supplies (as expected) it was great to have everything in one nice neat spot."

"I saw this kit and I had to order it. It was what I was looking for, a small compact kit to clean all your reels with tools and oil, grease, and cleaner in one small kit that you could throw in with your fishing reels to clean them incase of an accidental dunking. I dont have to lug around a whole bag full of grease and tools now on vacation. The oil and grease are both top notch. Combine the tools in the kit with a few specialized ones and you would have the perfect reel cleaning kit."
