"I finally got a chance to use the water filter. Remember to read the directions and flush a couple ounces out before you drink or you'll get a mouth full of coal saturated water. Easy to do though.
Overall this product is very useful and well made. It is very light, which is a plus for hiking. Dip and drink.
The only thing that seems a little hokey is the bite cap. I don't know how long the cap will last because when I bite it to twist it open there are indentations where my teeth made contact with the cap. We’ll see.
I used it 2 days ago and I'm not sick yet, so I guess it works."

"You can go to the nastiest stream you can find, fill this thing up with the water of it and drink it and it tastes great, and I have never gotten sick with it. This is a must have for any real outdoors man."
