"Love the lamp, however a piece of the leather on the shade has come unglued. Minor detail but for what it costs you would think that would not happen. I have had lots of comments on the lamp from families and friends."

"the grand river lodge lamp looks much nicer than the picture gives it credit. The long needles could be left off but the rest of the lamp looks great. The packaging of the lamp is in need of some better care, as the first lamp I received was damaged in shippment. So look at the package when you receive it first. It could save you sending in back at a later time."

"I love the lamp and looks great in our room that we just re-did. The base is nice an heavy that even our two labs cannot knock it over. I love it so much I am going to purchase the table one to match. I would recommend this to anyone who love the outdoors."

"First lamp was damaged. It was cracked all the way around. Factory flaw I suppose. Called and they said they had another which was good. Looks good put together. Happy with this one."

"A decent floor lamp for the money. The only complaint I have with it was the assembly. That part was okay, but the finish work at the assembly joints leaves a lot to desire. The joints look like they were finished by hand with a file and the damage repaired by someone with a slop bucket, otherwise is good.
The shade is extremely well made."

"I bought this lamp to try and bring a bit of the Adirondacks into my city apartment. I've been so impressed with the quality and look of this lamp, I'm ordering the matching table lamp too.
Great look, reasonable quality for the price and the customer service of Cabellas to back it up!"

"I really like the style of the lamp,it fits our room perfectly but this is the third lamp that has been sent to me from cabelas. The first two lamps were cracked all the way around in various places,this was not due to shipping. Cabelas sent me a third lamp which they had inspected before they had shipped it to me and it arrived in perfect shape,however with in less than two weeks the resin began to crack in the same pattern as the first two. This tells me that the material used to make the product is defective. I hope cabelas can get this resolved with the company who makes the lamp because this could be a five star product."

"This is a very unusual lamp! Which is exactly why we wanted it. It looks lovely in our rustic living room. The only negative is getting it out of the box and putting it together. You can tell where the two pieces of the "trunk" come together but it does not detract from the lamp. The shade is nice and deep and lets plenty of light through. The lamp is also sturdier than other floor lamps we've had which is important with little ones running around."

"The lamp was easy to assemble and gives out great light with the 3-way to 150 watt bulb. The only down side is that the match between the pieces are off and if you are at close range you can see the breaks. But the tree bark is a fun look for anyone that likes rustic decor."
