Watch your bolt pattern,

"While the product appeared to be of good quality, the bolt hole pattern did not fit my Xpress Duck Boat. The plastic backing made it impossible to just drill new holes. Be sure and measure your bolt holes to be sure they fit."

"Seem to be of good quality. Had to disassemble them and relococte the mounting bolts, and drill new holes in the trailers metal brackets. This took less than an hour so not bad. Wish bolts were Stainless steel though."

"The bolt pattern would not match the holes on my trailer brackets. Had to drill one new hole on each bracket on my trailer to make the new guide ons work, no big deal. The new guide ons are very sturdy and they should last the life of the trailer. I think they are a great product, thanks Cabelas."

"Overall I'm pleased with these. However, I dont understand why washers and nuts weren't provided. I needed to drill a new hole (in trailer) because the adjustments on the boards didnt match correctly (not a big deal). The boards are easy to take apart and adjust the bolts (several bolt holes are provided)."

"The workmanship appeared to be very good and the materials were of high quality, unfortunately I couldn't use them on my trailer because they're drilled for a specific hole pattern. I guess I could've drilled my own holes but that's a hassle when you pay money for a product. Cabelas should probably put that caution in the product description so no one else gets disappointed and returns the product."

"I recently purchased Cabelas 30" guide-on bunk boards to replace the rotted out 2X4 versions on my trailer. They look to be well made and will far out last the old wooden ones that they replaced. Missing from the package were the mounting nuts and washers but for a couple of $ I purchased some at the local hardware store. The mounts on my trailer are welded on and I had to make slight adjustments with a persueder (hammer) to line up with the mounting bolts & also had to adjust the location of the mounting bolts on the guide-on, which is just a matter of removing a couple of nuts and prying the two halves of the bunk apart and choosing mounting bolt locations that match up with your application.
I would definately recommend these as replacements for aged OEM guide-ons."

"I purchased 1 set tinking I could replace the worn bumpers on my trailer. It claims to be universal but the blot holes did not line up. I even thought about drilling my own holes but when I removed the carpet section I found out that the carpet is glued on already and would have to rip the carpet all apart to even move it to an already pre-drilled set of holes. Can only use these if you get the cabelas whole side bumk system. Looks like its made well but will not fit universally."
