"We got the Cabela extra long Deluxe Folding Bed because two of our friends who over-night with us at times are 6'7" female athletes (one a retired basketball player and one -- who tries to make her height less imposing by titling her blog an inch shorter -- is a professional beach volleyball player). Its first test by one of them will be next month but my husband and I tried it and this is an incredibly comfortable cot.
Steve and i were greatly helped by the warnings in your other reviews to check the spring bottom and tighten things up so we did that the first night. Yet one more fine use for needle-nose pliers.
Overall we are very happy.
Possible Tip: starting athletes who are tall may find this an affordable way to having bedding which can fit them without injury and muscle cramping. We could see it perhaps as a fine and affordable way to provide a bed for a very tall person's dorm room or first apartment but are not sure how it would fare with such constant use. Beds which fit the very tall are few and many of them are pricy."

"I use the bed to camp in my enclosed utility trailer. I bought the XL version since I'm 6' 250 lbs. It's light enough to move around for loading, yet has much higher comfort level than other cots I've owned. The mattress is thick, wide, and long and provides a good night's sleep. I have had a couple of the support wires come loose as described by other users, but no big deal."

"We bought this cot to accommodate young children coming to visit. We all really loved it. The cot is very comfortable even for adults. This is preferred over the aero beds that we have. We plan on buying the larger one too."

"The bed is comfortable and easy to set up. However, the first time I used it I noticed a lot of the little spring connectors coming off. I had to fold the bed up to take the tension off, and pinch the hooks closed with needle nose pliers. A LOT of them. Once that was done, no problems."

"Oh my, when I laid down it felt so good. For a portable, small framed, light weight bed, this was a huge surprise. Balance and comfort were great. Sure, you cannot sit on the edge of it like your bed at home, but that is not the purpose. The cover for the foam pad is stout and easy to clean. I have the longer, wider size. Now my dog, a golden retriever, will not crowd me off. Great for camping out of your pick-up or just to have around the house for company."

"This foldling bed has a nice, sturdy frame and a comfortable mattress. I slept on it the night after a fire at a nearby building forced me to relocate to my mother's house temporarily. "Aside from it being a touch heavy, there are no issues with moving it around. It sets up easy as well. As far as comfort... As good as any air mattress has provided. The cushion that comes with this one is by far more comfortable than some of the "other" deals you might find elsewhere. It does live up to its weight limit specs. I'm 310lbs and it is solid. Everyone should own one!"
