The smooth and constant draw weight of Browning's new Barracuda™ Bowfishing Bow will fit
everyone in the boat with no on-the-water adjustments. The constant draw weight of the new
Hypermax™ Cam means the Barracuda can be snap-shot just like a recurve bow. It has no let-off
or valley like other compound bows, letting just about everyone use it. But this isn't strictly a
bowfishing setup; it also will accept most standard archery accessories for backyard shooting fun. That
makes it the perfect way to introduce young shooters to the sport of archery without having to worry
about draw length for a bow. The draw weight is adjustable from 30 to 40 lbs., and the draw length
reaches out to 30". The brace height is a forgiving 6-1/2", and at only 32" axle to axle, you will have
plenty of room to maneuver around the boat. At a lightweight 2.6 lbs., it won't be a burden for younger
shooters. The new AquaFlage™ film dip finish will easily mask your bow from your prey.

Browning® Barracuda™ Bowfishing Bow,March 11, 2009
By dragun07
"This bow is a good bow due to the fack you are able to do snap shots and have the same power at whateved draw you are at. I have taken shots at one theird draw and got the same penetration as when I was at full draw. The ONLY problem I have ever had is my other Barracuda went to pieces while I was taking aim at a big grassy!! Tore up my forearm pretty good and still had 12hrs left in the tourny, had to use a backup. The bow was returned to Browning and repaired but no reason was given as to why it came apart."

Browning Barracuda, Love it,August 19, 2007
By BowfishingArkansasfrom Little Rock, AR
"Great bow, I use an AMS real and a bowfishing Whisper Biscuit with mine. It shoots faster than my 45lb recurve and hits harder. Its short limbs stay out of the way and make it easy to handle compared to a recurve bow. The only problem I’ve had with mine is the nylon cloth covering over the grip started to come off. A few wraps of boxer’s tape took care of the problem. I love this bow."

a bowfishermans bow,February 14, 2007
By carper34from MN
"This bow was made to bowfish. The no let off design makes snap shooting as easy as shooting a recurve. If you want a great bowfishing bow for a reasonable price, this is the one."
