The Pull-On Boot is part of Cabela's Basin Collection, our new series of premier rugged casual footwear. These shoes are constructed of rugged, oiled tumbled leather, a waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX® membrane, a lightweight and tough Vibram® Gumlite® outsole, anatomic polyurethane footbeds and a moisture-wicking lining. These shoes are also made with a Goodyear® welt construction process, which only the finest shoes and boots are made with for rock solid durability. You can be sure that your feet will stay dry and comfortable with the protection provided by the GORE-TEX membrane barrier and moisture-wicking lining.
Color: Dark Brown.
Men's sizes: 8-14 D width; 8-14 EE width. Half sizes to 12.

"Great looking boot, but the opening is too small to get your foot into. Once I got my foot in, one of the boots was smaller than the other. One fit o.k., the other one was too small. Never had that problem before. I have bought thousands of dollars of merchandise at Cabela's, but these will have to go back. Will try a different style."

"I have had these boots for about one month and they are great. True to size and very comfortable and look great. As many of the other reviews have stated, they are difficult to get on and you must have a shoe horn but they are worth the struggle and I am sure it will become easier once they are broken in. My feet are comforable all day long, they are a great product and I hope they continue on the market as I will be looking for another pair, some time in the future."

"Took a couple days to break in, but once broken in, very comfortable, and light weight. Look great with jeans or casual slacks. A little difficult to get on at first, but gets easier as they get broken in. I'd like to see some better pull tabs, perhaps one on each side of the boot, it would make getting them on much easier. Also the tread pattern is very shallow, not great for aggressive terrain or muddy/snowy conditions. But all in all an excellent pair of shoes for daily wear aound town or to the office. I would definitely recommend to a friend, and will probably buy another pair!"

"I bought these boots partly because they were available in a wide. I have a wide foot, and I'm able to wear heavy socks in these boots without any problem.
After the initial break-in period these have quickly become my favorite pair of boot/shoes. I can wear them to the office or out in the field and they work well in both. My only complaint would be with the lug sole. It's not deep enough for traction in snow or mud, but for any other application they're great.
I wear these boots almost every day, and almost don't want to wear any other shoes. I'm seriously considering buying another pair just to have in case Cabela's stops making them."

"I purchased a size 12 and size 13 boot through mail order so I could get the right size and mail back the pair that did not fit. In most boots I wear a size 12 1/2. The 12 I received was rather narrow in the for foot and loose in the heel. The 13 was entirely to big and not an option. After wearing the size 12 boots for a few days they did get a bit better but no much. I think these boots are ok for around town but would not use them for any real walking or time on my feet."

"My Basin Pull-ons were broke in on a trip to Central America. It was rainy season and I slogged through the muddy roads of the Nicaraguan central highlands on a mission trip. These boots loook nice, cleaned up easily, kept my feet dry and are very well constructed. In and out of airports they were easy to pull off/on as I went through security checks. There was no breaking in - right from the box they are very comfortable."

"These pull on boots were easy to pull on and comfortable to wear right out of the box. Many other shoes of this type have a leading edge around the top of the ankle that take some breaking in. The way these boots were assembled, there was no hard to loosen up. I work on a concrete floor all day and these have been very kind to my feet. The only draw back has been the half size I ordered was a little short so next time I will order the next full size up. It wasn't uncomfortable enough to return just a bit less room than I would like."
