Well worth the money,November 18, 2009
By cobiakingfrom VA
"Easy set up. I really like having the temperature display on the outside sensor. I use it while surf fishing to keep an eye on water temps and it works great. With the supplied probe plugged in, the display alternates between outside temp and the probe's temp, which makes it ideal to drop in the water for a quick check. Even used it to take my temperature when I was down with an illness!"

La Crosse It Wireless weather station,January 16, 2008
By jlakefrom Colunbia, South Carolina
"I have at present one wireless without a long range reception and have had it checked with a calibarated Themomoter. The La Crosse one was 4 degrees off I called La Crosse and was told that is the best I could expect, and if I did not like it to send it back to Cabalas."

Camo Weather Station,January 16, 2008
By Bucksniper7mmfrom Kirbyville, Texas
"A real value for the money. This is a good little unit , it is accurate , and has very good range. It doesnt have all the "Bells and Whistles" of the more expensive units, but by far the best of any unit in this price range."

La Crosse iT Wireless Weather Station,January 15, 2008
By downeast
"It works as advertised, and the price was right. But it has two significant shortcomings. 1) The display is most difficult to read from nearly straight on. I have to look at it from very odd angles. Can't imagine why is is designed that way. 2) If you replace the batteries in the wall unit, you must bring the local unit and the remote unit within 5 feet and restart them both. If the remote unit is mounted outside, that is inconvenient. It also suffers from a common fault I see in many electronic devices. If I choose the 24 hour clock, I also get temperature in Celsius, not F."
