"I purchased the jacket for a trip to Alaska. The weather was rainy and windy. I used it for general wear as well as on a rafting trip. we had dry suits, but I would have been really cold without the jacket. It was great and kept me dry and warm. The color was a bit bright, but I was easy to spot. Great jacket."

"I bought this coat for a cruise to Alaska in May. It kept me warm and comfortable while standing on deck and blocked out the wind as well as keeping me dry on rainy days. My only suggestion is that it have a zip out fleece liner. The pink is a bright color and makes it easy to spot me in a crowd of tourists. Great value."

"This is a great jacket, I purchased it two years ago. Lately I began having zipper problems so I called your customer service. I was amazed that she offered me two possible solutions. Cabelas would either write me a check ($20.00) to replace the zipper, or they would send me a replacement. I said I'd prefer the replacement, but would they mind if I got a smaller size since I had lost some weight. The nice lady even agreed to that! It was a different color, but I like it very much."

"It's light, lined and the zipper is sturdy. Definitely keeps the covered parts warm and dry.
The function doesn't outweigh the fashion. The women's cut and fit makes for a nice sporty look rather than some of the bulky box cuts you often see in outdoor apparel.

"The size of this jacket is made bigger than it states. I always wear a size large and this jacket would fit an x-large or larger. Also the stomach and waist part seems to be way too large for the arms. I was disappointed with this jacket as it seems to be warm and comfortable for the Fall but with the size difference I will not be reordering."

"recently purchased this jacket for an Alaskan cruise. It rained everyday and it definitely repels water. The extra pockets were nice to carry things in. The only downside was, I wish the sleeves were heavier lined. Ordered in an xl size, normally wear a large so i could wear a polartec jacket under it. worked fine-did feel cumbersome though. But this jacket would work great in late spring or summer rain."
