"I needed a seat that would allow people to rest for a second or two while bowfishing. These seats serve this purpose well. I can't attest to their long term comfort, but they seem fine for a quick rest. Thickly padded and good for a larger man of 250 lbs. Great price and no surprises."

"Things sure have changed in the world of boat seats since I got my last ones in 1991. The selection process was kind of challenging for me, hard to really tell how one seat differs from another when looking at them in the catalog. In the end I picked one that I thought would be a good "middle of the road" version, it turned out to be unavailable so I was back to square one. I "settled" for one in the same price range, that pretty much matched the boat colors. What a difference from my old ones, these are so comfortable that I have to wonder just how nice the "big dollar" seats are, if they are proportionately better it is probably good that I didn't choose them because I wouldn't ever leave the boat! I had one "issue", one of my new seats had a slice in the side. Since the shipping box though showing plenty of "wear" was intact and the plastic wrap was also OK, I have to presume that the seat was damaged during manufacturing and shipped to Cabela's anyway. I don't think this happened on their watch. I probably could have shipped it back for exchange but in the end it seemed like a good excuse for a road trip, the Scarborough, ME store is less than 2 hours away. As it turned out they had a matching seat in stock, so we came home with it (and several other "goodies")."

"I bought 2 of these seats looking to find a firmer foam in the seat, its just what I was hopeing it would be. However, as another person on here said the backs are to straight, they need to be at more of an angle. After 6 hr. sitting in them it would sure be nice, guess i'll try the filing of the hinges as the other guy did."

"This seat is very well made. The Foam padding is a little firmer than the factory seat, but being a heavier person thats a good thing. The back is more upright which I also like and it sits a little higher than the old seat."

"I bought 2 sets of Boat Seats from Cabela's before I finally found a Great seat with this model. It is a wonderful seat, and is almost identical in fit as my 2000 Lund Pro Sport seats. If you have any lower back problems this is the seat for you. It fits the lower Lumbar the best of any seat that I have tried. I hope this helps someone on the edge of a decision."

"I have been shopping from Cabelas for a number of years and I have always been satisfied with every thing. I ordered these highback boat seats and I am very happy with them. I am a double amputee and I still like to hunt and fish. When ever I need something to make things easier for me I know I can get it from Cabelas and it will be of good quality. "When I used the seats for the first time they seemed a little too hard on the butt. However after several times out they seems to be fitting to my seat very well. They are well made quality seats. These seats are well worth the price and I believe they will be with me for the rest of my fishing days. I am 71 years old and need all the comfort I can get."

"The seats appear to be rugged and built very well. Fabric is heavy and I believe it will last for a long time. The seats are somewhat unconfortable because the seat backs are too straight up and down. I filed the hinge joint(very easy to do) which allowed the seat back to angle back a few degrees and made them much more confortable to sit in."

"Though the padding seems abit stiff, I haven't had a chance to try these seats out since I installed them, so I really can't comment on comfort. My first chance is this weekend, and based on everything else I've seen in these seats, I have every bit of confidence in them. The matterials seem to be put together really well, and they look great. The seats were easy to install, in fact it took me more time to find the tools to install the seats than it took for me to actually install them. No locking mechanism was provided to prevent the supplied screws from coming loose, so I'm expecting that the pvc framing will prevent the screws from vibrating loose. If this is not the case, I will be a little disapointed. Maybe a note about this from cabelas might be helpful."
