Good sleeping bag,March 17, 2009
By con7canfrom Sk, Canada
"Okay, this bag is very warm...but it rips easily and cabelas doesn't make a bivy sack for it. I would consider buying the XPG waterproof version mummy bag instead. Tougher, drier, and not much difference in space."

Hot Sleeping Bag.....,January 8, 2008
By HUNTGALfrom Fort McMurray, AB. Canada
"I like the sleeping bag, but the material rips very easily (feather's everywhere) and it doesn't open all the way up. It's stay's closed on the bottom. Otherwise it's an awesome and really warm bag."

xpg -40,September 20, 2007
By andymc
"Very warm bag, used 2 years in Canada for a total or 6 weeks. Never got cold, but the coldest temperature was only around 10 F. Bag was actually to hot when the temperature was 40F and above, had to sleep with the zipper open. Need to buy a good compression sack, it is difficult to find a backpack large enough to hold the bag and all of your gear. The zipper constantly snagged, it was quite irritating to open or close the bag."

Review 5 for Cabela's XPG™ Ultralight Extreme Rectangle Sleeping Bag
"An excellent sleeping bag for keeping warm in sub-zero weather. Soft as a feather, which it is (mostly). The compression bag is great and really minimizes the load.
The included large carry bag will maintain the loft of the sleeping bag when compression is not needed."
