"this call has to be roughed up to get a good sound out of it and isn't very loud. I just use this one for a spare. maybe someone could use it and be happy but not the call for me."

"I've had this call for about a month and so far so good! It clucks and purrs great. If you go over a spot you've purred on while yelping It messes up. The included conditioner works great to."

"I bought this call after reading reviews on Cabelas. I found that it was a very good sounding call. I called a big tom in last year with a 9" beard, and 3/4" spurs. I did have a harder time towards the end of the season to get the turkeys to gobble with it. Very easy to learn, and easy to purr, cutt, and yelp."

"I've used other turkey calls, but never a slate. I know what turkeys sound like and how replications of their sounds sound. After about 30 minutes i was making purrs, yelps, and cluck easily. The call is easy to use and the custom striker is fantastic. Also after a lot of experimenting, this call can produce very loud sounds...much louder than any box i have used. 5 stars and would recommend.."

"First year turkey hunting and it was on public land in Colorado so the birds were pressured and call shy. I had got close to a bird that was gobbling and I yelped with my box call and the bird shut up right away. The next morning I went out to the same spot and insted of yelping with the box call I pulled out my jackpot and set up my decoys and started clucking and purring the Tom came in within around 15 mins got him with in 20 yards. Thanks to this call I was able to bag my first bird. Thank Primos"

"I bought this call because I had heard that it was easy to use,I have other slate calls and for whatever reason I seem to find them a little harder to play than my other pot calls.For me anyways, this call is easy to play, and as well, it seems to have a higher pitch than my other slate calls, and I like the higher frequency calls. Like most Primos merchandise it seems to be a good quality call at a reasonable price. Would recommend to a friend."
