Large Rolltop table,
March 15, 2010
By K9trailinghandler
from All over California
|
"We do a lot of dog training at sometimes remote, undeveloped sites, and camping. We needed a portable table for everything from map reading to signin sheets to makin' coffee to camp cooking and eating. The large rolltop is strong, stable, can be levelled to suit most any terrain. It folds down into an easily stored not too heavy bundle. It simply has met or exceeded our expectations."

Nice lightweight table,
November 3, 2009
By jeepskate

"This is a good portable table. Lightweight but sturdy enough. If it's windy you'll need to keep weight on it or it will blow away. I used it to hold a camp stove. Worked well for that purpose. It looks a little flimsy but is actually pretty sturdy."

Cabela's Deluxe Roll-Top Tables,
October 17, 2009
By JGM3

"Small, light, easy to carry and store. I basically use this table to place my camp stove on when cooking outdoors. However the legs seem to be a little on the flimsy and "shaky" side so it is not ideal for windy conditions or very heavy items. If the legs were more sturdy and stable I would have given this 5 stars."

"We enjoyed the compact storage size and how much you can put on the table when it is open. We use it too eat off of and also to put our cookstove on. It is very quick to set up and also to take down. We really enjoy it and look forward to next camping season with it."

Cabela's Deluxe Roll-Top Tables,
October 7, 2009
By Glen5

"We have found the deluxe roll-top tables to be a great boon to our camping and backyard barbecues. The tables are fairly light weight and compact for transport. We've tried to pare down the amount of gear we take canoe camping, but at least one table goes with us, especially if the cooks have any say. The adjustable legs make cooking on uneven ground a lot easier. The legs seem a little wobbly until the top is firmly in place. We've never had a table collapse or get knocked over, even with an energetic dog and children aged eleven, eight, and two in camp."

Large roll top table,

"Good quality, easy to set up and take down. The adjustable legs are great for unlevel spots, no leveling blocks needed. However, with the legs extended to their full length it is a bit unstable."

roll-top table,
August 17, 2009
By Pudentane

"The table came with no instructions for assembly and it took me a bit to figure it out - of course once I figured it out it was simple! I bought it to use for trailer camping and weight and compact storage were important factors - it scores high on both of thse requirements. The carrying case is roomy enough to stash it inside without a struggle.
I also like the adjustable legs - for two different heights which work well for stand up work like grilling and for sitting down to eat or other uses. The legs can also be adjusted in small increments to deal with uneven ground surfaces.
The cautions I have are that it should not be left outside in windy conditions where due to it's light weight it could easily be blown around and damaged. This is not the most rigid table or the sturdiest and that needs to be kept in mind as it will wobble if bumped and the very lightweight frame could be damaged by careless use - I have to guard against my dog wrapping his lead around the legs and upsetting or damaging it. However for lightweight compact storage, relative ease of set up and take down, and the convienience of having an adequate table to use out of doors that I can sash behind the seat of my truck or in numerous places in the trailer it's a very good candidate.
We'll see how it stands up in the long run. I wonder how long the elastic that holds the top together and enables it to roll up will last, and if it needs to be replaced will that be easily accomplished."

large table,
August 15, 2009
By woodfolks
from plattsburgh, NY

"This is the lightest weight table you will find It could be backpacked into a base camp no problem I have the smaller one (large) The XL cant weigh much more
The large is good for two yes you could get 4 on. this is a table for eating and dinning on in style play cards, hold a light ,and you could cook on it if you keep extentions folded in. it is not a rugged table, if it were it would weigh a lot more.
If you are thinking of a table for a canoe trip and carry this is the one especialy if you will carry it on your back at any time
If I did not care a bought weight I would get a more rugged table. I have other tables but this one has its place for pack in and canoe in base camps for a hunnting trip. Thinking about getting a bob trailer for my bike this would be great for it
If you want a camp kitchen think more of the fold up kitchens (suitcase kitchen) is light weight and sturdy I have one for boat trips and car camping"

Cabelas roll top table,
May 11, 2009
By Sudoloya
|
"I really like the accordian top and the way it attaches to the base. The base with its adjustable legs are convenient. The legs are lightweight but adequate for dining and for the use of a light cooking stove and aceesories. My first use was on a jeep safari in Utahs Canyon lands, it worked great for my wife and I. I am sure that it will provide years of use."
