"I used these while hunting this year - 2008. I was able to turn up the volume and hear everythimg being said by my guide while we were whispering about the hunt. When it came time to shoot I just pulled the trigger, and they worked as described. The 30-06 blast was reduced to what you would expect with earmuffs. They are very comfortable to shoot with, and the tapered design didn't get in my way while looking through the scope. Summary: for the price - WOW!!!"

"I have a pair of $200 ear muffs. I compaired the two several times for volume and clarity.The $200.00 pair have more volume but no more then would really be needed. As for the acoustics, the Howard Leight Impact Sports take center stage! They have batteries that out last the other one, the batteries are easy to find and cost alot less. They are so easy to change have a thinner profile and fold up much better. I will buy another pair for my wife, without question. The saying is you get what you pay for, but this time it has been proven wrong. The OD Green color brings back my days on the Army rifle team. These have everything going for them. Forget the big brand names with the high price and give these a go, if you don't agree, I will be amazed. Alot of thought when into these ear muffs! Simply put, they are OUTSTANDING! (Ray)"

"I am so impressed with these muffs. They sound great, and the muffling function is so seamless, I can't tell when it's doing it. The last pair I had was cheap and they would pop on and off with every shot. These are so smooth, you could carry on a conversation while shooting and not be bothered by the muffling function. "I was getting tired of hearing nothing with the ear plugs. The only thing I knew about ear-muffs is , I didn't want them to get in the way. I read all the reviews, then did the corporate move(drop the lowest, drop the highest) until these were the only ones left. These are great! Range conversations are normal. I can concentrate more on follow through. Late at night, I can turn the radio way down, and these things amplify the sound like a concert. Lucked out again!!"

"This product already has several stellar reviews and that's part of the reason I chose to try it. Well, they are correct! This product works as advertised, folds neatly and compactly and I couldn't feel any better about the purchase! The muffs fit well and simply do exactly as they are supposed to. If you are the least bit interested in trying electronic muffs for shooting, you will NOT be disappointed. A friend chose to purchase a pair to use while mowing and the supplied hard wire feature allows him to plug in his phone so as not to miss calls too. The prices on other muffs with similar features are much higher and I simply cannot see any reason to spend one more $. Long battery life and auto-shut-off. This purchase is a no-brainer."

"These noise canceling earmuffs have performed flawlessly in the field and at the indoor range. They have never failed to dampen any sudden, sharp, loud noise to a comfortable level.
The ambient noise amplification is fantastic and will allow the wearer to enjoy nature or hear that elusive buck or turkey trying to sneak past that they have been waiting for.
I purchased a set for myself, and a set for a friend for his birthday and he is as happy with them as I am.
The only reason that I didn't rate these with 5 stars is that they do not cancel as well as my non-electronic muffs, but the difference would not keep me from recommending them."

"I have worn many brands of electronic earmuffs; the Sport Earmuff is an excellent product. I am using them on Australian Fullbore Target Rifle Ranges; they are compact, comfortable and functional. I received speedy Service, 8 days from America to Central Australia, (six days transit within Australia) Four hour auto shut off - fantastic; other units either flatten batteries or turn off after a few minutes while you are using them.
