"I really like the power and responsiveness of this motor. My wife, other fishing partners and I all like the ease in launching of this motor as compared to previous versions of MinnKota's. I hope it doesn't start to self-steer, a problem I've had with some previous models."

"The device really helps me get more fishing in. I live on a river so it wanders a little but for the most part it keeps me in line. Well worth the investment. I also have the Co-Pilot . Nice to have the toys."

"This product is awesome. Installation was straight-forward and I can control my trolling motor from anywhere in the boat. I hardly have a need to use the foot control anymore. The Terrova trolling motor was already an excellent product. The copilot system is just icing on the cake..."

"I purchased the CoPilot system along with the Minn Kota Terrova 55 Bow-Mount trolling motor with Autopilot. The trolling motor works fine. The interface between the CoPilot and trolling motor did not. The "learn mode" did not work. I talked to someone who had purchased the same combo, he said it took 3 CopPilots before it worked. He loves it now. I guess if you buy it, be patient (Time, shipping, waiting, etc). I am still waiting for my replacement."

"I always refrained from buying one of these because of the bad reports I had heard about "lag time", slow response, etc., but this is not the case now. This unit was easy to install and operates flawlessly. I have them mounted on my favorite rods, and can control my boat with my thumb without missing a beat fishing. Also, with the foot control stowed below decks, my fishing platform is clutter free!"

"The trolling motor pedal is still located on the bow fishing deck but I can wear the wrist band Co Pilot and operate the trolling motor anywhere on my 23 foot center console boat.
Excellent product !"

"This is one of the greatest inventions for fishing. I haven't even attached the foot pedal for my 80lb Terrova drive. I've been out of the fishing scene for a few years but with my kids getting older I'm ready to hit it again. I've used it once since I received it and it worked great. The freedom you have now without worrying about where you are in the boat. I was having a blast playing with my new toy and you will also!"

"Excellent changes to the CoPilot system! With my old CoPilot you had to shut the foot petal off to use the remote. Now you can leave the front of the boat with the motor running and make changes to it with out shutting it off at the petal. The foot petal speed setting over rides the remote when it is used but, you can use them togather much easier than before. Your fishing partner can take control of the boat when you are busy fighting a fish with out you shutting the foot petal off. The high speed button and the Auto Pilot on off button are great additions also. Good job Minn Kota!"

"I'll never use my foot pedal again. No cables, no pedal and I can use it all over the boat without dragging something around. Plus my Lab does not stand on it and control the boat himself. Easy to install, though, when plugging into motor it does require a DOUBLE CLICK. This is not emphasized in the manufacturer instructions and I had to call them to find this out. Other than that it is a cinch and gives you more freedom and more control. It even comes with attachments to mount to your fishing pole!! I accidently submerged mine while swimming and it still works fine!!!! Great concept and product.
Buy it...you will never look back."
