"I was worried about the pattern I would recieve, but when the case showed up I was pleasntly suprised. It holds my flintlock as well as any case I've seen work for a side hammer gun. I'm very pleased."

Horse Blanket Indian Print Gun Case,
October 6, 2009
By SoCalLongRifle
from California
|
"Ordered mine for a TVM Early Lancaster-pattern long rifle. Outstanding quality of materials and construction; the scalloped leather trim is a nice touch. Unlike some other reviews I read regarding somewhat bland blanket "patterns," mine was spectacular; it is very similar to the pattern on the case displayed on the website. Found the leather "ties" substantial and authentic. Overall, I'm extremely pleased with this case...will be ordering another one for my Lyman Great Plains Rifle."

ok,

By LarryTheGreat

"it says actual product may be different and it was, just the colors were ugly. wish there was a way to pick wich one you got. and make sure you order an extra long case too since the only way to close it is to fold the end over and tie the strap. i barely fit a 20GA, 26" shotgun in the middle sized case.
decent quatity probuct but not worth having to load the gun in a tiny whole in the bottom of the sack and tie it closed plus no pockets so your better off with a cheap case with a pocket for chokes and zippers"

Nice looking case!,

By ScottRepos

"This is a great looking shotgun case and is made of fairly heavy fabric. The only drawback I noticed is the closure. It uses a leather "shoelace" type tie which I can see falling apart eventually. Other than that it's a very cool looking original case."

A bit sad on this end,
March 2, 2009
By Hitchmup

"I was very sad to see that my Indian Print Canvas Gun Case was not even close to the design like the one in the picture. Mine has red strips and just a very small bit of Indian print at the end of the case. Other then that the quality and price was good."

Indian Print Gun Case,
February 24, 2009
By DShultz
from Southern Louisiana
|
"I shoot Cowboy Action Shooting and purchased 2 of these cases. Shotgun and rifle both fit fine. These cases are period correct and give the protection needed. A very nice case even if you don't shoot in CAS. If you like old rifles and shotguns and the simple things in life then you will like these cases. Very well made also."

Great case for my rifle.,
December 1, 2008
By daweasel
|
"I recently acquired an older Model 94 Winchester. This gun is somewhat rare and I wanted a good quality case to protect it. I looked all over and found cases that either were made for a scoped rifle or were too long for this relatively short rifle. Since this one folds over and ties, it will fit any rifle that isn't too long for the case. The gun fits snuggly and the case is of very good quality material and workmanship. I am very happy with it and would recommend it to anyone with a difficult gun to match a case with."

Nice gun case,

By atlanticmariner

"Loved the two cases, but I forgot they were not cut for scoped rifles. No problem: had the top center split and bound the edges; added leather scope shrouds and raw hide thongs- now they fit my scoped rifles. Would be nice to see the same product made especially for scoped rifles."

Horseblanket Protection,
September 29, 2008
By jobel

"I have an original model 1886 45-70 Winchester in near mint condition. This is the type of shootin iron that my great grandaddy might have used in the plains of Kansas and Nebraska to shoot buffalo, or in the mountains of Montana to hunt grizzly bear. When I saved up enough money to aquire this masterpiece, it was natural that I'd want something to protect it from the elements that would not only safeguard it, but would be befitting of the period of time that the old iron was born into. Thats when I found the case at Cabela's that seemed to be a natural made just for that special gun. Not made from plastic or steel, but a real Indian Print Canvas Gun Case, and the rifle and case came together like biscuits and butter. I would highly recommend this type of case for any fine long gun and I'm sure that my old grandad would have approved too."
