"I have had several quail calls with a similar design approach as the Primos call. The Primos call does not compare well with the others. Its pitch frequency is too low and the sound volume able to be generated is too low to carry a reasonable distance."

"Bought two of them. One for my son , and one for me. Not a good pitch at all to the sound. To much vibration in both units and not enough sound being produced for my liking. Had many others in the past 40 years of hunting that sounded great, Disapointed!"

"I got this just before the quail opener in CA, the rubber band it came with was too short, therefore it couldn't be stretched out any more to make a REAL quail tone. Out of the box it was waaayyy too deep of a tone."

"I hunt valley quail on my property in Patterson california and let me tell you,You can not get within 20 yards of these little buggers unless you sneak up on them wich is verry hard.I was looking on cabelas like I usualy do (3 times a week) when I saw this call and decided to give it a shot. So when the call came into the mail I went hunting that weekend.I walked to the tree line of my property and started calling and whithin 10 min. or so I had two or three coves calling back to me. I was blown away.Calbelas has don it again! Thanks."
