"Color blind? No problem with the amber dot. Shooting into the brightest sky? Not an issue as the reticle intensity increases with heightened light conditions. Batteries seem to run out at the most inopportune times? Not a worry in the slightest as no batteries are required day or night. Does rain obscure your red dot sight? Don't ask me how but the optic works just as well in a driving rain as it does dry. I have shot other parallelax-free red dot type sights and none compare to the RX30. You will not be disappointed."

"I just want to say i used this scope out side on a hot bright sunny day and i had no problem seeing the dot at all. I dont know what people that own this that say that they can't see it out side! I live in california and i shoot out in the desert where its the brightest and see it find and i really like how wide the view see too! I would definitely buy it."

"As always , trijicon has made another great optic. Great optics, full field of view, no batteries to worry about, nice round dot that changes intensity according to surrounding lighting conditions. I mounted mine on a bushmaster ar-15 and took a few minutes to get sighted in at 50yrds. Was able to shoot sub moa groups at that distance. The 6.5 dot is alittle large for shooting at 100yrds and beyond, but this sight wasnt meant for that. Overall, another great product and great price from Cabelas."

"I use this for the bed gun, and to run 3 gun out to 100yds. Dot is clear and crisp. The mount holds fine (w/loc-tite) and allows for buis to be deployed if needed. Buis were sighted in off the dot and work great. This is not as fast of a sight as an eotech, but you don't have to worry about batteries. The production from trijicon has made me want to pick up a acog for a 2nd ar because of the technology deployed in this site. Only complaint is that they don't have different reticles. Site adjustments are clear and crisp, and have not had any problems with POA vs POI going back and forth to the range.
Overall, simplicity is king with this site. NO WORRYING ABOUT BATTERIES!!! It can be used with both eyes open. Once sighted in put the dot on the target and pull the trigger."

"I bought this sight and have used it for over 8 months in Iraq. I like the way this sight automatically adjusts to the light conditions as I go in and out of buildings. It is also nice to have a sight that I don't need to worry about batteries for. I will probably get another and would recomend it to others."

"I returned this scope due to no shot to shot consistency. The scope would rock slightly on its base despite all screws being fully tightened. I had it mounted on my muzzleloader (our state only allows 1x scopes), and I couldn’t consistently group 5 shots on a paper plate at 50 yards. I was really disappointed after paying so much for a scope. I was impressed the way the brightness of the aiming chevron would adjust to the light conditions."
