The heart of the EXV is the weather protection provided by the GORE-TEX Performance Shell fabric. The efficient DWR-treated face fabric adds
improved waterproofing characteristics to the rugged, 100% nylon shell. A three-point adjustable hood protects from wind and precipitation, but does not impair vision. A storm flap with rain gutter seals out driving rain. The upper-body portion of the parka is lined with a high-quality mesh to contribute crucial air circulation benefits. Adjustable cuffs keep the cold wind and rain from sneaking in. The zippered chest pocket is convenient and easy to access, plus the large, covered zip-closure pockets below keep your valuables dry and secure. Shock-cord adjustable hem. For added warmth, look to the specially designed fleece liner that zips into the parka (sold separately). Imported.

"I BOUGHT THE WOMENS JACKET FOR MYSELF LAST WINTER. IT IS GREAT ALONE IN THE SPRING AND FALL AND IN THE WINTER WITH A POLARTEC. WE LIVE ON THE WATER AND IT IS PERFECT FOR WALKING THE DOG ON THE BEACH ON THOSE WINDY DAYS. I WAS NEVER MUCH FOR HOODS BUT I USE THIS ONE ALL THE TIME. "I only bought the shell but I like it. I usually get an XL in stuff like this and the fit was fine. Mostly been using it surf fishing in Long Island, NY. Nice enough though to wear on my commute to NYC. I like the outside breast pocket. Handy to put extra stuff in that I need to get to when fishing. Seems to block the wind pretty well and when you zipper it up to the neck it seems pretty much waterproof. I didn't get the fleece lining but I would imagine with that I could get away with this through December around here. I figured I have enough fleece shirts and heavy sweatshirts to wear under it. Adjustable hood is a nice feature too. Definitely worth the price so far."

"I am a huge fan of Gore-tex products and this one did not let me down. A great product for a fair price. I can think of nothing I do not like about this jacket. "I work for the phone company and I am outside all day. Just purchased the parka and pants. Best invetment I ever made in a rain suit. Already wore in the rain all day (11 hours) and stayed completely dry. Only one word of caution, the pants run very small, I had to go 2X normally wear extra large(definilty size up)!!!!! The parka is true to size."

"This is an excellent raincoat - I have spent extended hours in the rain and have been dry. Large hood and storm flaps are very operational. The raincoat breaths well to allow for comfort. If you require a larger size coat - this coat is for you! Only one downside - you can not pack the coat into a sandwich bag but you can roll it up tightly. Great Product."

"Have used this rainwear once and found it to be comfortable. The 4XL sizing was good and will work well with medium layering. "An excellent all-weather jacket. I use it mostly for fishing purposes, but I've found it to be an excellent all-around coat. I've been out in the pouring rain fishing on the beach and never even got a hint of being wet. It's a great wind blocker as well, so good that I used the coat throughout the winter here in NJ with just a fleece underneath and I was comfortable with temps all the way down in the low 20s. Not too shabby in my opinion."

"this is another great buy. you add the liner and your good to go on those cold days. it has nice deep pockets witch is a plus to me. the only thing i don't like is the bill on the hood but i just folded that back and no longer have a problem."
