30'er- Awesome if it fits the bite,January 21, 2009

"This lure runs well, stays deep (essential when you get a thermocline), and keeps it's color after SEVERAL toothy strikes (that can't be said for some other deep running Wahoo lures I've used).
For clear water: when it's Dorado season, use that color to nail predators. Any other time I've used Silver/Blue (that fits the local sardine color) with great results.
Buy 3-4 of each color to be safe (given visibility, weather, and bite conditions, as well as the probability of losing a couple), use wire leaders (big ones if Wahoo are around) to not be sorry."

"Excellent to troll bluefish, yellowtail, bonito and even grouper over reefs. With proper line reaches 40 Ft down. Only deep lure that can be trolled up to 8-10 knots. I have been waiting years for RAPALA to have a true deep diver. Congratulations for this breakthrough."

"Best lure for deep saltwater fishing.This is my favorite lure of this year."
"I use this lure in several situations in deep water. Can be trolled by weedlines near to the surface. Catches big dolphin, baracudas, bonita, kingfish. Also - I use a 32 ounce trolling weight 25 feet ahead of it and catch grouper and kingfish off the bottom. Nailed a 17 lb. red grouper the other day. This is an unbelievable trolling lure. I use 50# Braid with at least 10 feet of 60# fluorocarbon leader. TRY IT!! I fish the Keys and go out to deep water in Southwest FLorida."

Great for Grouper & King Mackerel,November 14, 2006

"I have used this big lure to kill some big monsters in Kuwait it is the best swimmer i ever used introlling i am trolling at speed of 8Knots for king mackerel and the X-Rap is swimming perfectly with a mono line 60mm i also used it for catching Grouper at speed of 3 Knots its the best for our Gulf .. i used 3 colors and all of them was great and powerfull. I never saw any Lure swimm as good as the X-Rap."
